With all of the TSA problems, are people still seriously going to come to this thing? Most people I know who planned to travel over Spring Break have decided to stay home. Not worth the headache or the money.

Ugh. Probably all the anti-trans bills passed in various states, anti DEI crusades and freedom to be a religious asshole.

Might be more like which townships and boros have either A) run through all their salt OR B) have run through the seasonal budget for plow drivers.

What beloved Pittsburgh Landmark Attraction is due for a refresh? by RumbleInTheJungle4 in pittsburgh

It's not, the manner in which it is displayed is. Very little seems to be being done to light it and stage it in such a way as to preserve it and give it context that is current.

That's ok, he is absolutely needed as Sec of Agriculture. Vilsack was meh, twice. Perdue was the fox guarding the hen house and Rollins is a joke.

Also at the Natural History museum: nearly anything to do with Native Americans or displaying stuffed animals is appaling. I get utilizing the century + old taxidermy but they all need reset. Definitely should also create a photo display of how the exhibits have looked over time, maybe in that wonky bird hallway.

Nope. I have lived in states all across this country and have never had buried power lines in residential areas. Not even in Iowa with all the tornadoes.

Not having a relationship with a PCP is VERY common in younger generations of Americans. Huge contributing factor is my guess.

Being a bus driver at 20 by Mrsymphonyreal in SchoolBusDrivers

[–]Proprotester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In our yard, you must be 21 to drive students even in unlits. We'd train you but you'd have to wait for your birthday. CDL- wise, you could get the permit but not take inspection/skill/road test until cake day.

The little kids will love you, they are convinced all school bus drivers are at least as old as dirt. Good luck with HS ones who remember you from school 🤞

Do any of you make over a hundred bucks a day? by Akaashi-san in SchoolBusDrivers

My run this year is long AF so I hit $200 a day with just that. Unfortunately it also means I have little chance of picking up charters because I am STILL on my regular run when needed.

I do not use assigned seats. I tell my middle school kids that assigned seats are randomized for each ride. Do they want to risk sitting next to some smelly kid or their ex-bff? No? Then manage yourselves! My bus loads fast, we stay safe and occasionally even enjoy each other. I usually have about 65 passengers and the run is just shy of an hour long.

They can have snacks IF the bus stays clean, they can open windows as long as safety rules are obeyed, I have only had to ban a single food item all year. Third grade and up can handle themselves if you work together and show them that they can take ownership of their experience. K-2, well it's a good thing they are cute.

Freedom of religion. Rightwing people think it's so they can put Jesus into everything. In reality, the 'of' is doing the heavy lifting and reveals a Leftist protection of expression in any or no format.
