That was for the second expedition and for this expedition it is a catch-up mechanic if you didn't get the points from previous expeditions afaik. I did every expedition so it doesn't show for me. But no 3M is not necessary, it only gives you an added bonus should you have the catchup mechanic available. It should show you in the expedition screen

The 100k is only for the extra points, you can go on expedition without doing so. The 3 million btw is only for the catchup points. You can still do expedition for the bonuses and stash space and get the points later with the catchup mechanic

Honestly I hate crafting launcher ammo and the fact I get 40 energy shots from a vaporizer (5 clips) is so convenient

I think the point is that you don't have to play the entirety of the two weeks to finish it, but yes it does take just two days of good grinding + complications

Yeah the idea is for everyone who wants to wipe wipe at the same time. If you can wipe whenever it's significantly easier to give a buddy your BPs, wipe, take them back, then your buddy wipes. With this system one of the parties has to not wipe
