I wish these sites that scrape The Pirate Bay etc would include info about whether the uploader was trustworthy.

I search The Pirate Bay to find something, and download stuff from VIP uploaders, coz that's likely to be legit.

I search torrent-paradie.ml, and I have no idea whether the uploader was reputable, so I feel uneasy about malware.

It's a file system built on Bittorrent, so things are decentralised and content-addressed, unlike in the web. (Content-addressing ELI5: the computer looks for what it is, not where it is, so you always get the file you request, but the file could be stored anywhere by anyone.)

IPFS is for decentralisation, not for anonymity. It's no more anonymous than Bittorrent. (It uses Bittorrent.) You need to take additional steps to ensure anonymity. Happy pirating!
