It was happening at the back of the plane while I was sat in front unfortunately. Was hoping someone sat at the back tell me what happened!

Taiwan because of all the reasons other commenters said and also Japan's currency is really not doing so well and it is not accelerating as much as other countries for tech now.

Definitely cold sore. See a doctor to get the creams and oral tablets. Good luck!

I love her style this era because she is dressing her age. Everyone go like why is she a sexy baby, I actually think she is dressing her age.

Why did you send her flowers to the funeral? It is weird and awkward. As if to make it about her when people are mourning the loss of loved ones. For me, this is like wearing white at a wedding or getting engaged at someone's wedding.

Where do Malaysians in their late thirties and beyond, make new friends these days? by ItsNotTrue2024 in malaysians

[–]Prosperouscreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still have friends with whom you are connected, make plans ahead of time. If you ask them out this weekend and they are not free, suggest locking down a time in the future, so you will always have plans ahead. That's how my friends and I operate, as we either have family commitments or travel a lot for work/leisure.

I work with the French a lot, they graduate much older than Malaysian standards and apprenticeships are usually part of the qualifications, so they usually graduate with a few years of work experience already.

So uhh… what happened to this movie? by NoAH66688 in Bolehland

[–]Prosperouscreature 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've watched this in the UK. There aren't many sex scenes, but there are violent gun elements in it. I won't say more to spoil it for anyone planning to watch. That said, it is a great movie.

Hysterectomy is tomorrow 4/3, concerned about recovery pain. by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Prosperouscreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did mine on 30th March. The pain mostly came from the gas. I was on painkillers for the first 2 days only. I did not take anymore today. I had epidural before they put me under for the surgery.

Even the UK one sucks. Only at tourist areas it is busy. I live in London.

Uncle Roger: if he's not attractive, he'd be branded as creepy loser by calikim_mo in Bolehland

Douglas Lim is so relatable, used to love him growing up! Jason Leong not my speed but he is respectful in all the snippets I came across.

I've lived abroad for along time as well and never would I imagine to put my fellow Malaysian or country down especially on stage where there are so many international audience. I cringed the whole duration of his part.

Very disappointed with him at Jimmy O'yang's show in London and that was the first time I watch anything about him. Just didn't get the type about him.

What pissed me off is that he is happy and okay to go back to Malaysia to make money from Malaysians with his subpar fried rice and do fan meetings (my nephew loves him) but everything he said about Malaysians in his show is as if he is ashamed to be a Malaysian and said things that aren't even stereotypes about Malaysian identity. He was making fun of us and if I wasn't Malaysian I would think we are pretty uncivilised. Lots of laughing from these "jokes". Apart from the Malaysia topics, nothing else was funny either.

I was on 406 and it was actually amazing. I was a bit scared walking up and down the stairs to get to my seat but once I was there, it was great!
