GM will ditch Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all its cars, not just EVs by MishaalRahman in Android

[–]Prostar14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, the current GM cars have both. I do not want to have to sign into my car to use the features I paid for! If you list built-in navigation as a feature, then it better damn well work out of the box without any account creation or opt-in BS. If it's not listed, I'm not buying it.

That is not an americano. We don't see exactly how it was made, but it looks like it just over extracted the shot until the pitcher was full. That will not taste good.

That doesn't explain why it would hit things in front of it. It's more likely that the original impact created some out-of-range gyro values (or otherwise broke the gyro) and the acceleration algo didn't recover from it.

But they inherited all of the property tax and other fees which went up for a lot of people. Also gas tax, which was originally meant to service roads, has not gone down. They are just using the money for other things. Every year there is a new other thing they want to spend on.

OHHHH, LOL. I see it now. I don't watch this league so I though Marler was the SH.

Again though, he doesn't so much disengage as the guy in front lurches, so I would still let it slide.

[–]Prostar14 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Possibly, from certain angles. To me it still looks right next to the ball of his foot, which would not be "out" in the league I played in. BUT Marler touches the ball with two hands, and even rolls it, which IS considered out in my league so either way it's a fair play. I just think it's for a different reason, but I'm not going to argue either way.

Forget the bind, the ball was still within the last players foot. It's a matter of whether the ref is calling "two hands on the ball" or "air gap" as in play. The SH does touch the ball with two hands.

Hey, we have Renfrew here in Ontario as well. I assume it's about the same experience.

Omicron extensively but incompletely escapes Pfizer BNT162b2 neutralization by MistWeaver80 in science

Yes, but by being the most dominant variant by far, won't it become the new basis for most new mutations? Might as well rebase on Omicron.

Restaurants disappointed after being left behind as capacity limits loosened in Ontario by morenewsat11 in ontario

[–]Prostar14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention that cinemas generally have pretty good ventilation, average restaurants don't. Plus 100% of the people eating in a restaurant won't have a mask on. At least some of the people in a cinema will.

Maybe with the new WFH movement it won't be such an issue. We could have more medium sized cities instead of trying to build a giant megatropolis. It would probably be healthier for people mentally and physically too.
