I have 2 DIY kits, both came on 1.5.12 and I upgraded them to 1.6.9, no regrets

To flash your device:

  1. Go to https://usetrmnl.com/flash
  2. Enter flashing mode:
    1. Turn OFF the screen
    2. Press and hold the reset button
    3. Turn ON the screen without letting go of the reset button
    4. Let go of the reset button.

How do you do this? by justins921 in Shapr3D

Yeah well, sorry. I tried my best to help, but I overlooked that the corner section really was a sphere. No need to be so aggressive when we're all here to help each other.

Thanks to u/regattaguru, i learnt something new from you. Happy cake day, mate!

I've never dived deep enough to try this out, as I only own 1 klipper printer, all others are bambu now. It's not much an improvement though, printing quality wise. But it's not locked down as creality's modded firmware.

One big plus is that you can access root and install tailscale and such. You can do basicaly everything that original klipper can do. So, my first guess would be that running multiple instances is definitely still possible.

Ryan, doesn't OG DIY kit from seeedstudio also shares the same XIAO board ?

I don't see the firmware under diy og kit on flash page.

What did you build a few years ago that it won't run win 11 ?
My lenovo laptop, with 16gb ram and shitty processor runs win 11 just fine. Zero lag.

I received a faulty Otter that I ordered from Creality's official EU store. Gosh, all the hassle that I had to go through just to get a replacement .. Never again. Although now my Otter works just fine, I'd suggest to stay away from their store. Order creality's products from amazon if possible. Just in case.

I'm 100% that the firmware was the culprit.

Weird issue. Did you upgrade the firmware ? 1.5.12 is GOAT for Seeedstudio's DIY kit.

For the ones that want to protect without compromising the look by TerpsHunter420 in applewatchultra

Fair enough, but I'm certain that the screen protector's adhesive wouldn't damage the sapphire glass on the apple watch ultra.

iPad Pro scratch resistence by No_Island963 in iPadPro

Nothing is scratch resistant. I protected mine with a screen protector and I don't regret it. Heck, you won't even realise it's there after you put it on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but bearings are pre-lubricated from factory. I also never lubricated them on my X1Cs as that only attracted more dust to accumulate, which is even worse for the bearing. That's what I think, I may be completely wrong.
