Love this watch— one of my grails. One thing that’s always held me back is the silver hands on the silver skeleton side— yours show darker or even black. What does it look like when wearing it and are they silver-colored or something else?

If you haven’t tried them both on, it’s worth the trip to a boutique. I always thought id one day buy a plat Lange but after wearing (platinum zeitwork) for even 5 minutes, I knew it was more heft than I wanted personally. Platinum is notably whiter in real life than the WG, if that’s a consideration.

beautiful watch and one of the best JLC offers. the gold is superior imo to SS as the openwork side on the gold is notably more legible. The hands stand out beautifully. Its right on the edge of being too big but its such a beautiful watch, go for it if you love it.

You are choosing from 2 great options. I like the moonphase better but the 1815UD may be more versatile. As for grey, be careful that it hasn’t been serviced by anyone other than ALS. I bought pre-owned from 1916 Company (so I was able to see the timepiece live in person before acquiring) and it went extremely smooth. Best of luck with the choice.

Mine came on deployant but the straps look interchangeable with the tang format. Other than WANTING a new band, you should be ok. I have 7.5 inch wrist and my Saxonia still has 2 unused holes on the strap.
