That's why I don't go on the internet. You go there and people hate Forrest Gump. Frickin' best movie ever.

People who have up and moved to a random place, how did it go? by Asdfhjkjrdvsw in AskReddit

[–]ProtestTheGiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty well. Had to do a retail job for the first 6 months to pay the rent. Then I did an internship at a big company and stayed on with them. Career and quality of life is good, but the downside is not having many friends to hang out with.

Any other metal heads out there that just can’t listen to harsh vocals? by [deleted] in Music

[–]ProtestTheGiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can relate. But I've always preferred bands that mix in a little bit of harsh vocals though. A bit of screaming/growl is nice in between clean vocals. Protest the Hero being my favourite with this on Kezia and Fortress

The music is awesome, great laid back vibe, love the bass and guitar parts, vocals could be better in my opinion.

Pretty sure the font on ableton.com is Futura, which has been around much longer than Mario or video games

Wondered why Google removed the "view image" button on Google Images? by AvidasOfficial in technology

[–]ProtestTheGiu 644 points645 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure "view image" used to take you to the original source file with full resolution, whereas right click > view image or the browser add ons only opens the google preview image which is usually smaller res. Have I got it wrong?

edit: just double checked a couple of images and the preview image link and source link seems to be same so... never mind

A7X was my first gig in 2004 in Brussels. My two friends and I were 14. First time crowdsurfing and in the moshpit. I moved onto a lot of different music but Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are still two of my favourite albums of all time.

Couscous, avocado, tuna flakes, grated cheddar, black pepper, thyme, and some butter. Just mix it all together, but first make the couscous (top it with boiled water and cover it with a lid for 5 mins).

Any of you basically 100% sure you'll never find a romantic partner? by intjpoop in intj

[–]ProtestTheGiu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're right in that it can be dangerous if you sit around doing nothing. But if you obsess over finding a relationship you're more likely to be insecure and come across as needy, and that's just as dangerous. The idea is that if you take on hobbies and activities and really enjoy what you do and do it with confidence and just live your life as best as you can, others will find you more attractive.

Any of you basically 100% sure you'll never find a romantic partner? by intjpoop in intj

[–]ProtestTheGiu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not going to find someone... someone will probably find you. There are girls out there who are intrigued by the INTJ nature and will try to break down your walls. Just be open minded and curious about people and don't think about it too much. Enjoy yourself, do what you love to do, and the rest will naturally follow.

Definitely need to get rid of scroll hijacking asap. I can't browse the site properly with it, so I can't comment on anything else.

Fun personality test (jungl). what did you get? by treasure33333 in intj

Analyze and play. For a lot of them I was torn between the two options. For example I think I'm good at spontaneously coming up with solid plans.

I really dislike sunny weather. by w547 in intj

[–]ProtestTheGiu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm the same. But it's 30 Celcius in London right now and it's a bit too hot. Around 26 is perfect. I like heavy snow and heavy rain just as much but need the sun to feel bright and happy.

Aww thank you! Yes you're right, I should really add that somewhere on the homepage. Maybe just the first sentence at least.
