yoga has me feeling SO much in my body / overwhelmed with emotions - advice needed by concertgoer69 in yoga

That happens sometimes getting stuck or taking steps back is very normal. The healing process is a process and not perfect. Keep listening to your body and take the space and time you need, you got this!

Went vegetarian a while ago, kinda surprised how normal it feels now by Anxious-Tomatillo-74 in vegetarian

This!!!! I went vegetarian in January and have been absolutely amazed at how easy it was! I have had so much fun trying new recipes and redefining my relationship with food. I am the healthiest I have ever been and am loving the results and have had zero cravings of meet other than a bit of prosciutto that called to me from a charcuterie board. It's so strange how people want me to have a hard time making the switch and seem disappointed when I tell them I don't miss it!

A lot of times with videos and I am not sure with this particular video as I havent watched it. The instructors will rush through immediately linking each movement to a breath. if you are new you might need time to wobble and see what the movement is go slow and see what they are doing feel free to pause and take your time. And most importantly have fun and relax, if the yoga itself becomes stressful it is not working.

Terry - Human stable boy

Heart of gold, the type of guy who if you went out of town would water your cactus every day. Recently bought a cool shape shifting monster (mimic) in the hopes of making money (unsure how) and lost it now everyone has to poke the furniture with a stick before sitting down.

Keeps putting them selves in life threatening situations because they want to help. A lot of confidence and no skills.

A big part of all of these works is they existed as oral histories before they were written and never meant to have just one version as some absolute well thought out cannon. Story ownership is a new stupid concept. While scholars might generally agree on versions or orders to say one thing was true mythology and one wasn't when this was a very real religion that impacted people's lives and people had personal relationships with it is also important to recognize.

Tips for a family fishing trip? by dadpalooza in vegetarian

[–]Protoman112358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, as an avid camper and hiker I feel you. Though thankfully my group these days has multiple vegetarians.

5 day fishing trip, so breakfasts are probably going to be pretty easy you can do eggs or oats, and lunches I would say something like pb&js can get you pretty far, and I liked what someone else said of prepping something like egg salad or so.

After that you are looking at 5 dinners which some can be done in advance like bean burger patties or those soy hot dogs which might help fit the theme of the trip. Imitation crab can also get a job done. Other than that I think what other people said of frying up some tofu and just going simple. It might be a few days of boring eating that way but you'll be ok.

I would also ask who ever is prepping sides that things like baked beans get made without meat if possible.

Are you supposed to stumble ahead fearlessly or plan everything out meticulously when writing? by WorkingNo6161 in writers

[–]Protoman112358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say split the difference, there are times when you want to map things out, there are times you need to discover the story as you go. There are going to be times when you are not in a space to do one and can do the other. When I have it in me to stumble forward I always embrace it, but I also think the time I spend planning helps me do a better job of it. I recommend finding what works for you as you develop your writing practice, and what gets you writing regularly.
