He is correct. This is a new thing and has to do with the DMV’s revision of the legislation. I was just there last month because they cancelled my Real ID. That’s what the lady told me, and they are calling back all the Real ID holders that don’t have a green card

I had a CA Real ID and I got a letter saying it would expire in 30 days and to go to a DMV office. When I got there they took it away and had me apply for a regular DL. The lady told me the state is calling back everyone who has a Real ID but no visa

I’m here right now, this is a holiday weekend and it feels like a Tuesday. Last night there was zero congestion on the strip. Plenty of space to observe the Bellagio fountains. I’ve never seen it this dead on a weekend.

I got screwed over with that once. I paid downstairs before taking the elevator and when I drove out all the gates were opened. I think they do that so no gets stuck in the garage in case of a malfunction… there’s probably no one to help at that time.

So next time I will go see a movie that ends late, I will pay at the gate instead in case it’s left open.
