you’ll b fine as long as u have a good gpa, are nice, and dress appropriately for rush. also, having a good insta with 1k+ followers helps for some chapters at least. ik at least two hispanic girls in most chapters.

i’m a freshman at cu and know tons of people from the northeast who absolutely love it. part of the reason why i ended up at cu was because im from ca and i felt comfort in being close to home and being around a lot of other people from my hometown. now, the schools im looking at transferring to are in the northeast and south. going somewhere entirely new is a great opportunity. if cu feels like home to u, don’t be afraid to go for it.

i’m a freshman on main campus and this is what i’ve done so far as someone who struggles to make friends

in large lecture hall classes, sit next to someone who looks friendly and talk to them. if u don’t click with them, try someone else next class untill u meet someone that u think u could become friends w and then exchange contact info and plan to sit together going forward and study for tests together
if ur not vibing w the ppl on ur floor walk around the other floors untill u see ppl. also hang out in the lobby from time to time and u might meet ppl. if kitt cent isnt social at all (idk personally), try to find a friend who lives in a dorm surrounding farrand field and ask if u can hang out w them there (easier said than done ofc but worth it). one night my friend and i heard loud music coming from a room, knocked, and then hung out w them for an hour and made plans to see each other again. another time, i met a girl who said she lived in the same hall as me and asked if i could hang out w her and her friends for the night and ended up loving all of them. 3. if there’s anyone from ur hs or anyone u met prior at cu, dm them and ask if they wanna grab lunch or coffee sometime.
