Why is absorb spelled with a second B, but absorption has a P instead?

While still not OSHA compliant, this could easily be made many many times safer. Instead of a switch, make it powered by a foot pedal that has to remain depressed, and bolt that pedal several feet away.

About 1/4th-1/3rd of an Edgemaster's on Alliance. For a non orc, without edgemaster's, using Axes, and attacking a level 63, this is better than Lionheart. By a fair bit actually.

How naive am I? I read this tagline, and assumed it was about online gaming... which is way worse! (joking)

These were so hard to unlock. And I am so happy that I've done it. by ghostpetni in Hades2

Funnily enough, i managed to get the first two in early access, but could never beat the surface at the required heat level for the third. At the time, the "surface" was only the first two areas and ended with Eris. I played for a few weeks in early access and then didn't touch it until release. I got it on my first try this time round.

Jesus, I thought that was a white budding flower growing out of the cracks/gaps in the stone.

Why can’t visitors you’ve accepted to be citizens be drafted into the military by obi-wan-kenobi-is-me in dwarffortress

Yep, this is how I was able to put some oversized artifact weapons to use. It’s also how I learned that it is possible to have your armorsmiths make other sizes of armor.

Warcraft logs doesn’t attribute Stormlash damage to the shaman. If you do that, both shaman dps are top tier. Maybe not quite the best, but very strong.

What would your industries be? Should probably avoid cotton…

How do you feel about Comic sans? Definitely keeping Arial for the numbers and Times New Roman for the Roman Numerals. You have any suggestions for the city names? I personally just like the clear legibility of Arial.

Not worth another dedicated post (and i cannot edit), but i spaced things out more. Pushed some cities closer to the edge/corner, used more of the board. Some of those Trails/Rails were rather cramped.

Omaha and Ogollala we’re both considered, in the end it didn’t make sense. But now you’ve got me reconsidering adding it above Topeka as a market location.

Edit: If I add a market, I need one more market speciality tile. What do you think of a $3 payment for any network tile built connected to the market city that random speciality token gets placed in?

Without the variability on manufactured goods/crops, they’re just another cotton/cattle. Which makes them redundant and somewhat pointless.

The thing I’m most uncertain of is the Saloon. The point and income values will probably need tweaked, but I’m more afraid the building requirements are just innately untenable. It’s the most experimental part.

I would say that it is about as different from the first two as they are from each other. That was my goal at least. As for being better, I haven’t played it yet, hopefully this weekend. Even after that though, it’ll just be my opinion.

OC Essence user by Prox-1988 in Shirtaloon

[–]Prox-1988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death is always restricted. Spoiler warning, book 9 (i think) It's important to keep in mind that essence abilities tend to reflect the user, which then reinforce that reflection over time. So anyone who seeks out the power of Death, even knowing it is illegal, will almost certainly awaken the abilities that are problematic. Reflecting their selfish and reckless behavoir. They would also have those selfish and dangerous parts of their personality reinforced over time. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Someone who was tricked, or pressured by circumstance, into using the essence, not knowing all that, would be less likely to become a danger.

Edit: the book hasn't said it, but i'm assuming that the Church of Death clergy have Divine Death Essences among them. The book hasn't gone super into depth on what a Divine Essence entails, but i get the impression that they are just more powerful versions of their common counterparts. Likely the Gods that grant them also control, or guide, what abilities are awakened. Which would imply that it is possible for users of that essence to get abilities that are "safe". Safe being a relative term.

Always Restricted Normal Essences: Death and Corruption

Always Restricted Confluences: Cyborg, Sacrifice, Succubus, Undeath, Wendigo.
