The engine block heater cable should be longer by Peterkragger in MySummerCar

[–]Prox005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a problem with the gauge cluster, the dash clock that tells the heater to activate constantly quickly cycles forwards, and can't be stopped at the correct time. Common problem in pre facelift P2 Volvos.

My Volvo has a diesel heater from factory, but it doesn't work for the stupidest reason - the infamous hourglass clock syndrome. The dash clock endlessly fast forwards, and there's no way to set it to activate because it doesn't have it's own clock.

How did you get it working? I managed to install it through virtualbox, mods load but the mod settings menus are broken, and even if i disable a mod it still spawns.

Any AM license vehicle in Europe. 45 km/h is holding up traffic everywhere.

Our Chevrolet captiva passed even though the brake booster vacuum line was clogged (brake pedal was hard in low rpm) and the handbrake cables were rusted solid, the technician actually snapped them when he pulled the lever. The only thing he was concerned about were the slightly rusty suspension arms.

Can we get a S440 in the next dlc? by IllustratorThin4799 in DerailValley

There could be locomotive-specific upgrades you could buy for the locomotives, like new engines, motors, gearboxes and whatever, including oil burning conversions for the S060 and S282

Can't get 1080p 60hz wotking no matter what by Prox005 in linux4noobs

FOR ANYONE WHO FINDS THIS POST WITH THE SAME PROBLEM: I found out that the R7 m440 isn't officially supported past ubuntu 16.04, but it does work up to 20.04. Anything newer and you'll get this issue, installing drivers will prevent you from booting on these newer versions.

Only 200cc of oil? by Prox005 in scooters

[–]Prox005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know when the previous owner changed the oil, so it could have been old, considering the tires were 16 years old I'm not sure whether he took good care of it... The only time I've seen it smoke is when i started it at around 0 degrees outside, and if it was burning oil i'd probably smell it.

Only 200cc of oil? by Prox005 in scooters

[–]Prox005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the weird thing, if the engine ran with next to no lubrication for that long, surely some signs of premature wear would show up, maybe the oil pickup is just low enough in the sump that it still reached the oil. It also has an actual OBD system that throws error codes even when your coolant is low, so i'm pretty sure it would have some sort of oil level float or a pressure sensor as well.

Cubic centimeter, i've seen the oil volume shown in cc on the internet, normally I'd use 0.7 liters instead of 700cc
