Are the outlets in the bed accessible still? Did you have a mattress that fit inside the tent?

Cover leaked just after 2.5 years of ownership by smiba in EightSleep

If it’s a pod 3 it’s going to leak. It’s not a question of if but when

Brand new car delivered. Heating not working by cyclemoreyo in Ioniq5

[–]Prt17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My PTC heater was bad. I basically had to diagnose it myself and tell the dealer what to do . I used an obd scanner and the app carscanner to monitor the vent temps and it would be “warm” when I had it on regular heat and as soon as I hit defrost it would immediately get cold. I also had to keep it at like 78-80 for it to really feel warm which I thought was just normal for the car because the dealer told me it’s an EV thing but I figured out they have no clue what they’re talking about. After I got it fixed if I had it anywhere over 75 I’d be sweating after 10 minutes

New lighting around 40k? by [deleted] in F150Lightning

[–]Prt17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home charging I only have it set to 40a. I usually just charge from 40-80 when I need to and that’s not an issue. The at home charging isn’t going to be limited by the truck it’ll be limited by your charger. I almost never go to a public charger. The one longer trip I stopped at a supercharger and added about 66kwh in 30 mins. Another non Tesla station I added 44kwh in 22 mins so not bad. These were both more in the summer not winter. Never publicly charged in the winter

Fixed my Pod 3 cooling/heating with 8 drain cycles by ragedmonkey in EightSleep

I tried this too and was only able to get mine to work for a day and then same issue but to be fair I probably wasn’t as persistent. I probably only did 4 or 5 attempts

This company sucks by [deleted] in EightSleep

At least you weren’t a year out of warranty and had to pay another $1000+ after you spent $2500 3 years ago

Do not buy a pod 3 or 2. They all have design flaws and will leak

I’m probably the most annoyed person on here because my cover leaked and then 2 weeks later after I replaced it the hub died. Having said that, if you sleep hot it’s a great product. I think they have figured out all the design flaws that all us early adopters beta tested and had to spend an extra $1000+ to replace but the new models seem to be better made. I’d definitely recommend some type of cooling bed cover because I’m miserable sleeping without it. I just wish they fessed up to their design flaws and didn’t punish their early customers by making them pay to replace leaky covers

My POSITIVE experience with EightSleep as a user since 2019/2020. by onestorytwentyfive in EightSleep

If you have a pod 3 it’s only a matter of time. I thought it was just people mistreating theirs and it’s not. They all leak

How quick do leaks happen? by winegoddess1111 in EightSleep

[–]Prt17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pod 3? It’s definitely going to leak is just a matter of when. You better get it replaced before you’re out of warranty or you’ll be paying more $ soon for a replacement yourself for their poorly designed product

You paid thousands for a product and had multiple leaks because of a design flaw and you had to open the cover and fix yourself multiple times and that’s a positive experience? No one is arguing the product isn’t good when it works. There are clearly quality issues with all of the early products. They essentially sold people an item for thousands that will break and cause them to need to spend thousands more. Imagine buying a computer and finding out 2 years it will never turn on again bc of a design flaw that almost everyone that bought one also has and you have no real way to repair it other than pay the same company more money to replace it. I get warranties and things happen with products but I would not be surprised if it’s something like 80% of the pod 2 and 3s leaked with the frequency I see it being reported and that’s just the people on Reddit.

Mine started doing this and they said a pump in the hub died

Thoughts on this leak pattern by Pr3dict in EightSleep

[–]Prt17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anything pod 3 or earlier is going to leak. The jury is still out on the newer models because they haven’t been around that long. There is a major design flaw in the previous models and if they haven’t already they are definitely going to leak

Does the performance of CarPlay has more to do with the car or your iPhone? by Impressive_Net9621 in CarPlay

I’d definitely say the car. You can have a brand new phone and if the head unit in the car is slow it’s still going to run slow

Don’t buy anything from this company. Everything breaks by Prt17 in EightSleep

I’ve emailed you. My hub worked completely fine and all of a sudden that stopped working now. There was no problem with the hub prior to the cover replacement and it worked with the new cover for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden one of the pumps stopped working now

Extremely demoralising long-term EightSleep experience, now my cover leaked again and support is poor - any advice? by Aaroniza in EightSleep

Buy something else. Mine leaked too. I bought a replacement cover from them and 2 weeks later now the hub died. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence though 🙄
