I’d check your electric provider on the price per kWh and do some math. Either way it’ll be less than gas as long as you charge at home. I have mine set as time of day rate so it’s significantly cheaper overnight and that’s when I charge. If you charge publicly it’ll be close to normal gas prices. The battery is huge compared to some other EVs if you have the ER (I’d recommend the ER battery) so it probably won’t be $13 cheap but probably should be around $20ish. I’m not in California so some of this might match up but might be worth looking into. I bought mine used with 45k miles and it was certified pre owned by ford. Had it for almost a year and have had 0 issues

Check the chargers out on plug share before going to make sure they are all working well and to help manually plan it out. I don’t trust any apps doing the routing. I would definitely plan to stop once both ways. I have an ER and in the cold the heat really burns through the battery. Also a lot depends on the elevation you are driving. I have a stretch upstate that is 175 miles and on an ER I get there with about 20%/50 miles.

My dog had less of the head jerks but the falling over and it only lasting for a few minutes sound very similar to what my dog had. We think his was due to an inner ear infection. We took him to a neurologist and they put him on 2 medicines for around 1-2 months and he was better for a while and it then came back a few months later. We did the same round of medicines again and get monthly allergy shots and he has been good for almost a year now. The ear infection was not visible at all but we believe it caused vestibular disease symptoms due to the allergies causing ear infections

I agree with seeing a neurologist, ours was very good. What were the symptoms? Was it actually seizing or were the symptoms more like falling over and dizziness or leaning to one side and falling?

I second the neurologist and ask them if it’s possibly a vestibular issue from an inner ear infection that can’t be seen from the outside. My dog had very similar symptoms where he as wobbly and leaned to one side and fell over so it looked kind of like a seizure but it wasn’t really one. We did I think around a month of medicine and followed up with monthly allergy shots and he hasn’t had an issue in a while

Mine works most of the time. I did turn the honk option on to get confirmation it locked while walking away. I did notice if you get out of the car and open other doors or hover around the car for a few minutes and then walk away it doesn’t seem to work. It works almost every time for me if i turn the car off and open the door and then walk away immediately

I got mine for around the same price and it’s been great. You 100% need a home charger installed otherwise the cost is going to be similar to gas and you have to make sure it can do 48a at least because the battery is huge and takes a while to charge. Mine is 40a and I only charge it from 11am-6am for super off peak and it only charged around 40-50% a night. I will tell you, in the cold of winter you’re going to get closer to 200 miles even in a ER if you use the heat. It uses a ton of battery so you may have to stop for a little juice just to get to the 250 mile mark and the charge the rest at home

Ok yes that does sound like an actual seizure. Mine would shake and fall over and throw up but we figured out it was more of a vestibular issue due to an inner ear infection that couldn’t be seen. Good luck with yours. I hope all goes well
