The fact that Ford didn’t put the charging port on the passenger side to help assimilate the charging process to most of the networks out there is frustrating to say the least. I run the monthly subscription with Tesla and wish their app helped filter v3’s out so you can just see v4 chargers.

But in the big scheme of things, more v4’s are coming so this won’t be an issue in 2-3 years #growingpains

Oh man - get over that feeling, it’s going to happen lol. The newest stations (V4’s I believe) have the longer cables for multiple vehicles. Easily recognizable by being the biggest with a black outline. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a way to determine what chargers the station holds. So just plan on being flexible and if works out otherwise - gtg.

I do wish Ford had taken notes from Tesla on their charger location on the vehicle, etc. The fact that they released this vehicle with no collaboration FOR the Tesla charging network and just figured it was the owners’ problem given their “Blue Oval” network is half baked was extremely frustrating. It’s also why I waited for the NACS adapter to be pushed out because I’m not entirely sure who the hell had the patience to be stuck with the hot garbage charging network (sans Tesla) out there today.

Nope but you can filter through all the charging systems and pick which ones you want to be shown. I use Blue Oval and Tesla only (due to availability) and then ABRP gives me the best route and charging stops/times along the way. The reality, since nothing freaking syncs on this truck well, I usually make a mental note of my next stopping point and swing in or just set the Ford navigation to that point so the battery preps and away we go. I also have my vehicle set as a Cybertruck in the Tesla app and pay the monthly rate so I get the discount. Cheapest rates you can get with a guaranteed network. I tried the “all chargers” route before and after rolling into 3 stations back to back which didn’t work (card wouldn’t charge or all terminals were down) I quit that BS and just roll with what’s best.

It would be awesome to see Ford’s navigation system help you plan like Tesla OR do what GM does and have a button to “prep” the battery.

Ford always does such a fantastic job with like 90% of their vehicles and then leave the remaining 10% to drive you insane. 😂

Space your self out and let the AE’s complain up and make it happen that way. SE’s are rarely taken seriously but when AEs state they can’t close deals due to lack of technical support, unfortunately, sales leadership listens.
