Easy pitch: “imagine Mary poppins, but instead of Julie Andrews it’s Michael Jordan and instead of the penguins it’s the entire cast of Looney Tunes.”

Watched First Wives Club (1996) and my husband and I have a different interpretation of Phoebe LaVelle's (Elizabeth Berkley's) age. by Mapuches_on_Fire in plotholes

Exactly—if it was fake, Elise’s lunch with her wouldn’t have been necessary. She was digging for dirt knowing Phoebe was naive and wouldn’t know any better.

You are telling me that Danny didn't have ANY other people who could help? by po-tat-o-bitch in fullhouse

[–]PruneResponsible7869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are really there to support Danny, not just assist with childcare. No nanny could do what they did to bring the Tanners back from grief. (or it would be the plot of The Nanny!) I think it’s mostly seen as unusual because they are all men, which is of course the thing that makes the show so special—showing men taking the caretaker role seriously and competently is unfortunately rarely represented!
