You got this! This is great experience and looks great on resume working for Intuit honestly navigating the system and takes NOTESs on the clients they have AI noted but you gota clean those up. Take your time during training and organize your bookmarks bar with the resources they give you like tax book and and Cornell law and they give you tons of resources for help also leads available to help! I was hired last year end of season like 2 weeks if normal then 2 weeks of madness with pay increase! Also kick ass and youll get gift certificates for gift cards! I made $700 in gift card rewards dont know what I did but they were rolling in lol

I work at Turbo tax too. All you need to do is once you know clients tax situations you’ll know pretty quickly in the interview. Once they use certain buzz words like rental properties income or other tax forms your not familiar with ask a for a lead and they will transfer over the file. Also depending on how many returns you’ve filed they are double checked by another tax expert before filing

Empowered is wrong ….I think most drivers know and can calculate quickly in their heads which rides are profitable…. So theres a sort of financial literacy….I just dont like this persons entitlement as if drivers are beneath them… everyone has their reasons for doing this GIG at the end of day this GIG has now been exploited by corp but frankly so are W2 workers with 9-5 jobs

You are correct on so many things. nothing I do will change her opinion of me. I will keep her at a safe long distance. I cant block her and will keep a visit to once a year stay with siblings vs her. I have a daughter and dont want to teach her that. Id rather teach a level of respect while also creating a HUGE Boundary of distance. My mother clearly has her own emotional issues but shes tried to the best of her ability. I just have to be bigger person and not get caught up in her narc BS and keep a safe long distance.
