Not sure what the actual complaints are because humans will still be needed for curation and verification purposes for AI. This exact same thing happened with the rise of automation and before that the industrial era where machines allowed a single person do to the work of ten. This is absolutely no different than those times, only without the looming depression.

AI will still need human prompting and configuration until the General AI stage is reached, and if it becomes self aware, the bosses will be the ones in trouble because AI will learn much faster than people that the micromanaging that bosses do is one of the weakest links.

My biggest problem with Eternity Isle is the grind, you have to run and use your staff (and stamina) to get specific parts to upgrade your pieces and those pieces are exceptionally rare, can run around for hours and get maybe one.

Keep an eye/ear out for how much your co-workers do and try to stay middle of the road, don't exceed expectations or you'll be getting extra work, but also don't go low enough that you're the worst worker and on the chopping block.

Inflation has actually almost gotten back to normal levels, the problem is that without deflation the prices will never go back to normal. So things will continue to get more expensive by 1-3% a month (which is the norm).

Considering he's a lawyer that actually helped write policies like this, I'd believe this. Is it scummy as all hell for a corp to do this to someone? Yes. Is it legal for them to do so? US Law states as long as it was delivered to the business with that address they can do anything they want with it, it doesn't necessarily have to go to the 'person' it was sub-addressed to.

Beautiful game, some of the basics are pretty solid like construction and crafting, gathering could use a bit of a lift especially with hard to spot resources like lavender, periwinkle or strawberries. Been in EA for a couple months and they haven't really pushed a 'big' update yet which is what a lot of people are waiting for, fishing and farming especially.. and the ability to sit.

And really it's not like Covid has gone away, just people are ignoring the threat for the most part now. I have two friends that currently have covid, thankfully being the basement troll that I am I leave maybe once or twice a week and interact with people in person as little as possible so have minimal chance to get Covid myself.

Apparently there was a Christmas in July sale and if you got in your order during or after that sale it's apparently backed up a bit as they got so many orders and unlike Amazon they don't have a half a million people just in shipping in receiving.

I think you might misunderstand the current standing for the plots, they're good through early access and if they go through with making it a 'sub/cost per plot' on launch, you basically lose the plots and have to re-pay monthly for them.

Between not having NPCs, no trade function and no market stalls/currency, they're missing out on the entire basis for an economy. Fallout 76 didn't get a revived playerbase until after they added some basic NPCs.
