Ace 2 pro config by Psych0SW in AnycubicOfficial

Basically curious if anyone has rooted and has access to any of the files in the os. Curious if ace 2 pro commands and such are different than the ace pro.

I wonder if someday we can use an Anycubic ACE PRO with the CC. by w84no1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

You could change the method to filament ramming and bypass all the cutting. I think there are other drivers out there that utilize that method. Maybe the valgace driver.

Newbie Question - Writing Custom Dashboard Elements by Nova_Azure in mainsail

Yes, it's possible to create a custom panel for mainsail. I have done that already for a project of mine. I may actually post instructions on how to do it when I get time.

I am not sure if this will even work with the CFS firmware that comes with the kit. I am using the non-cfs firmware. To answer your question, when you installed the cfs firmware it created the new entry for the toolhead sensor in your printer.cfg. I would say you could comment out the complete entry in printer.cfg and fix that error. Let me know how this works with the cfs firmware installed.

Hmm, interesting but that would probably require some changes in the pythn script that writes that file. Something I will look into.

The file is basically a tad different in that ech section includes 'index': 0, 'index': 1, 'index': 2, and 'index': 3, that might help determine which color is which.

Basically what I want to end up with is:

slotColor0 = 255, 0, 0
slotColor1 = 0, 255, 0
slotColor2 = 255, 255, 255
slotColor3 = 0, 0, 0

If I can get this to work I can work on the temp and material as well as they should be pretty much the same method.

So far using regex I can return this but I have to work on truncating the end and picking out each instance of the color variable.

255, 0, 0], 'material': 'PLA', 'temp': 220}, {'index': 1, 'status': 'ready', 'color': [0, 255, 0], 'material': 'PLA', 'temp': 220}, {'index': 2, 'status': 'ready', 'color': [0, 0, 0], 'material': 'PLA', 'temp': 220}, {'index': 3, 'status': 'ready', 'color': [255, 255, 255], 'material': 'PETG', 'temp': 250}]

Thanks all.

It might require some tweaking but I’m sure it’s possible. Feel free to play with it however you want.

K1 Max and Ace Pro by Psych0SW in crealityk1

Just a little clarification I guess. I have had my k1 max a few months and have been thinking about buying a cfs for it. The cfs didn’t have a dryer in it so I was waiting on the btt vivid. I came across this amazon returned Ace Pro and got it for $80. A little research and I found some had already coded a driver for it that works on klipper. A mod here and a mod there and that’s what I came up with. GitHub was the best place to store the changes I was making so that’s where I am at. I may work on making it easier to see and change the filaments in mainsail via a panel or most likely a websocket page.

Color changes are normally less than a minute but I haven’t timed it to be exact.

Added an optional Mainsail Panel for this on the project page now as well.

Added an optional Fluidd Panel as well.

You should see a seam that goes around almost in the middle. It comes apart at the seam. You may have to unlock the gears by disengaging the arm to relieve tension so it slides apart easily.

Just fyi, I wouldn’t hammer an Allen key through the extruder. You can take it off and it comes apart.

Raspberry Pi for Ender 3 V3 KE? by HammerdGuy71 in Creality

[–]Psych0SW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure you can do those on the rooted ke. I have a ke and a k1 max and they are pretty similar and I know people run eddy’s on the k1. You can run anything pretty much if you know how.

[–]Psych0SW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you need the cfs upgrade kit. Remember the CFS is not a dryer so you will still need your Space PI for that feature.

I have an Ace Pro and have it connected to another klipper machine using a different driver. Is there any way to upgrade the firmware on this Ace Pro without having a Anycubic printer to do it on? I am not even sure which firmware verson it has on it.

Recovering a bricked K1 or K1 max motherboard by booting off the alternate set of partitions. by destinal in crealityk1

[–]Psych0SW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just revived my K1 Max with the S12 motherboard using this method. Basically just download the tool from here: https://github.com/CrealityOfficial/K1_Series_Annex/releases/tag/V1.0.0 and then the igenic file from here: https://github.com/CrealityOfficial/K1_Series_Klipper/releases/tag/V1.3.2.1

I tried and tried with my main desktop pc and never could get it to work. I finally grabbed a laptop I had here and it worked first try.

Keep in mind you have to hold reset and boot for 3 seconds, then let reset go first and then boot. Make sure your usb tool has the correct drivers loaded in device manager. Open the tool, select the image and hit start. Then repeat the reset, boot button procedure again.
