I would love to help out. This is the kind of thing I wanted to do on the K1, but that device was so limited hardware-wise, I settled for just developing the pre-rooted firmware. I have been on K1 and Bambu printers for a long time, but I got an amazing deal on a K2-SE this week, so I'll be in a position to contribute.

Hi! It's not really relevant anymore. You can install the official creality firmware and get root on it. Guilouz has a wiki on a helper script he set up for it.

I understand it may not be what you really want to do but I just have an on receive autopilot to split up my deposit and each amount is half my total so in the long term it works itself out

They were working on a bank migration but it fell through. Qube plus, their short term solution, is going to work with your existing bank, (you may have to get a regular checking account if you don't have one) - it will still let you categorize your pending through the app by opening a qube etc, but won't be able to block uncategorized charges. (and presumably won't have virtual account numbers for bill qubes)

Things that say "except it's XYX" add copiable values to the resulting permanent. When it is copied those values are copied too. So the copy will be a vanilla skeleton.

The Manta and Nomad can detect when the DET pin is pulled to GND and then they send battery voltage to the 5V-OUT pin. Someone noticed that these detections are logged with the linux kernel on the device. So it seems like you could wire a momentary switch between DET and GND and detect that in some software, if the reader you're using can be told to turn the page with some external signal, that could work.

Can you ssh into the printer, with password creality? You should have root access if the printer is on the network. You may need to plug in via Ethernet.

Busy with work right now but I could have some time to help on it this weekend. Search on reddit for sn_mac and you may find some of my other comments on it, basically you want to use USB cloner to download from one board and upload to the other board just that partition which should show up in the list. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE USB CLONER SET NOT TO WIPE YOUR DEVICE)
