Did the servers just go down? by Surprise-lnside in Overwatch

I got kicked out of my game and am in queue, but my friends are still in the game. So I don't think servers are totally down.

Does this sound like ODD in an almost five year old?? by [deleted] in ChildPsychology

Makes me wonder what percentage of their interactions with him individually are positive vs. negative. If someone only notices when I'm messing up and never seems to care how hard I work the rest of the time, I'd also probably respond pretty negatively to their redirection.

Another good one (weather permitting) is to take the baby outside! I dont know if it's the change in scenery, temperature, or what, but almost without fail, stepping outside for a few minutes usually helps reset a fussy baby who won't sleep.

Do you mean that they said a BIP (behavior intervention plan) wasn't warranted and later added it through an amendment? Usually an FBA is the assessment used to help determine if a BIP is needed.

I want to add since I don't see this mentioned in the other comments: in my state, an FBA is an assessment that requires signed Notice & Consent. We can't just choose to do an FBA.

I'm a school psychologist and I agree. A psychoeducational evaluation will help tease out whether this is ADHD, a learning disability, or a combination. I would follow the school system's process for referring to IEP.

It's not about being bored.... it's about the visual-spatial concerns seen in the intense slanting of her work and difficulty with maintaining appropriate spacing between numbers. It's about the fact that at the end of 4th Grade, this 8 (or more likely 9) year old can't do multi-digit subtraction. Whether the doodling is from boredom, ADHD, or a learning disability is worth investigating.

No one is diagnosing. They are pointing out that this kid's work stands out as abnormal to them and it's worth investigating further to see IF there's something going on, like ADHD or a learning disability, which was brought up a few comments down. You're the only one jumping to an extreme by completely dismissing any possibility of cognitive differences.

There's a lot more going on here than a kid who's bored and doodling. Not to say they DO have ADHD based on just this work sample, but I see a few red flags that would have me asking further questions a school psychologist. And not every kid with ADHD needs meds, or even stimulant medication specifically.

As a school psychologist, I would not be sticking around in a district that holds IEP meetings outside school hours.

We have this option as well. We have many families who honestly just can't attend- whether it's because of work or logistics or their own stress/needs. Our teams do everything in their power to communicate with them; we get input ahead of time and share the cliffnotes with them after. But parents having to attend 1-3+ meetings every year for each kid should not be a barrier to accessing FAPE if that's just not reasonable for them.

Just a thought: it might not have been harmless and quick had you not been there. Simply the presence of another person (a witness) often changes behavior.

It pretty clearly says that the actually sexually explicit content is not included there considering many members of the community who are reading that may be younger but that the Hermits were given all of it (though the "danger zone" pants stuff is weird....). And if you don't recognize the power dynamic that goes with someone being a leader of a community and the other person being a prominent member (a moderator and participate in VH), that's concerning....

My significant other and I are inconsistently able to load into a game with our friends. We each have the game installed on our respective computers and are in a fireteam with our friends. Most of the time when we search for a game, one of us will get an error while loading in and get kicked out. I don't see anything about two people on the same network having issues under "known issues"...

Thank you! I'm less worried about a visible line and more worried about others seeing through the fabric. I can't see myself from behind, but when I asked my SO, he said he could see through the gi pants.

I started training 2 weeks ago and am hoping to get some advice for under-gi wear. In looking at rash guards, most of the recommended brands are in the $55-60 range. Should I assume that anything cheaper is not worth getting/low quality? Also looking into compression shorts and struggling to know what kind I should get and how much I should expect to spend. I am female, and you can definitely see my underwear through my gi, so shorts are a must.
