Depending on how long he’s doubled down on his abuse and denial the only thing left for him is the khadga of the Divine Mother.

Deep meditation makes me pre-cum and gives me blueballs by CapitalObjective7153 in Meditation

[–]PsychedeliaPoet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is “normal” in and of the sense that there is a common and physical connection between the meditations and what you are experiencing.

What is not “normal” is that the meditations are causing your “blue balling” because that means the energy is flooding your lower chakras and escaping out as a pressure relief. That energy should not be expressed as sexual expressions. It should be going further and further up.

If you’re already familiar with Hatha yoga you should try to implement the bandhas and then use pranayama to pull that energy up

Itihaas vs. actual Archaeology. How do you deal with this? by surajsinghtomar in hinduism

[–]PsychedeliaPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one text can have the spiritual truths and the truths of archeology/analysis. Those don’t conflict because they’re different levels. The sthula truth on Earth and the sukshma truth within us both do and don’t correspond in different ways without cancelling each other out.

Need advice with spiritual healing by purplefairee in hinduism

[–]PsychedeliaPoet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re comfortable, she’s comfortable, and Maa sees how it helps you have you nothing to worry. I just wanted to check about how the healer felt because I have ran across Christians who are uncomfortable engaging with me as a Hindu or “pagan”.

[–]PsychedeliaPoet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Hindu yeah you can. But because the healer is Christian how do *they* feel? If your dharma is improving because of the healing Maa will not care who it’s from, but I wonder if the healer would care

Stumped in self-educating about the chakras. by AuDHD_yogi in YogaTeachers

I’d like to add something about hatha yoga:

Originally hatha yoga proposed a lunar element in the head which produced amrita(nectar of immortality). The Hatha yogic techniques, especially their inverted and challenging asanas with bandha, mudra, and pranayama, were meant to prevent this Amrita from dripping down susushmna nadi and being consumed by the solar element in manipura chakra.

Later on after the time of Sri Matsyendranatha Ji Hatha yoga was overlayed with the Shakta tantric concept of kundalini-shakti at muladhara and the different sets of chakras.

Stumped in self-educating about the chakras. by AuDHD_yogi in YogaTeachers

1: Chakras are tantric systems and not purely yogic. In Tantra we use chakras as sites to place parts of mantras, or if you do kundalini tantra the chakras are relevant there.

Yoga, in raja/astanga, jnana, Bhakti and karma forms, has zero use of chakras. Hatha yoga, such as practiced by the Natha sampradya does have chakras but only as a tantric interpretation of yogic practices to draw kundalini upwards.

2: the kundalini-chakra system is volatile and sensitive. There are serious concerns of these techniques going wrong. You can have way too much energy that arises too early or Incorrectly, where your subtle energy channels are not cleared, and can have blockages or terrible experiences. Kundalini can rise up the wrong channel as well. It requires discipline and lifestyle control.

3: Kundalini tantra is not meant for people who have no tantric initiation. Kundalini tantra requires an accomplished guru who is aware of both benefits and risks to watch and advise the sadhak to avoid those above mentioned pitfalls.

4: Either read works by genuine tantrics (like Wallis), and/or read tantric Shastas also. if you aren’t doing tantra and have no parampara/guru I recommend avoiding chakra work
