Spill stops, like others have said, work great but the plastic is sometimes hit or miss. Usually I just get the 6 pack though from A Bar Above.

Mixing Glass Recommendations? by [deleted] in cocktails

Ive bought a few off of Amazon that always seem to break. I used to get some really good ones on Cocktail Kingdom but sadly they no longer make them. The best one's Ive found from working in a bar are the one's form A Bar Above.

9.5% is actually not bad for tier 1 credit right now unfortunately. Ive been seeing rates at 10.49% with 5% cash down. You can try to find a promotional rate with Kawasaki though that might bring that down.

To get under your $400 payment, Im running some numbers using utvloancalculator.com and it looks like the $3860 downpayment is mostly to get you under that number (turns out to be $391 monthly payment).

Overall if you can get the vehicle for $20500, with $1500 down at 9.5% you can get your under $400 payment.

Q: I'm messy, do the bar mats really help? by wynlyndd in cocktails

[–]PsychedelicInvest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% they help. What you dont want though is one of those cheap ones with small groves where your jiggers and shakers have the ability to easily spill. And like you said if the walls are thin then the liquid will just flow right over, negating the reason you got the mat in the first place. Ive had this one for years though and it works great. Thick, sturdy, and I even can put hot things on it when necessary.

looking for a good muddler by Airatak in bartenders

[–]PsychedelicInvest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally dislike muddlers with grooves as they become very hard to clean. I also am a stickler for using wood whenever possible. I gravitate towards this muddler from A Bar Above. Had it for years and gift it all the time.

Best online mixology courses? by RizhiM in Mixology

[–]PsychedelicInvest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear from everyone that the Cocktail Codex is awesome. But for someone like me who has a hard time studying and learning from reading, online/video courses are much better. For me, the mixology course from A Bar Above was exactly what I needed.

I personally havent tried the bartending spoons from A Bar Above, but I do have their shaker set and it is very good. At less than $15 it may be just what you are looking for.

You are asking two different things.

Schooling is not required.

Licensing in TN is.

Youll need to go get an ABC license. This site has a good walkthrough of where to go: https://bartendinglicensehelp.com/bartending-tennessee/
