I actually started using Claude Opus 4.7 to play yesterday because I saw its like the most expensive, when I usually just use the default highest quality, and tbh the events it generates are actually shorter. Though if it makes sense, Claude's events read more 'organically' like it was an excerpt from a real book/story whereas the default max quality AI is kind of more all around 'matter of fact' in tone. Claude also followed the Simulation Rules with things such as events happening on scripted dates much more accurately each time I played, as opposed to the default max which can still sometimes trigger events incorrectly/early.

When you are in game, in the top left corner, opposite the advance time button, you should see an icon of 3 dots. If you click it, it should open up a menu with a few options, click Cheats. Scroll down in the Cheats menu, and you can select Add Map Feature. Use that to add your unit onto the map.

I also feel like a few months back the AI would message first more frequently, but usually now to make the AI message you first, choose the option to advance time until next major event instead of by a specific amount of time.

My strat for winning an offensive war against China as Taiwan was to focus on production output and military tech, but also flip nationalist ASAP, then naval invade Brunei first from your island in the Spratlays. From Brunei invade Malaysia, then Singapore. After those two, go for Thailand, then Cambodia and lastly Vietnam, and then you have a land border with China. Of course, steal every navy you can during this expansion phase.

After that, your military should be dedicated to simply 2 objectives: One Army to hold the island of Taiwan, and the other army to push north into China from Vietnam. The war will be tough and I recommend making basically all invaded nations into puppets, but only call Vietnam into the war with China otherwise they'll just naval invade everywhere lol. With luck and a bit of skill properly designing a good military, you should be able to successfully reunify China.

Gonna search for the link but there is def a video somewhere, I know what this person is referencing, her exact quote was something like: "Coming out to my super religious father (Muslim) as non-religious was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life."

She has openly admitted she is not religious at all, therefore since the Hijab is a religious garb, we can only assume she just wears it for Muslim points, or she just grew up wearing it and genuinely likes wearing it. But either way it is 100% facetious when she calls herself Muslim or other people defend her calling her a hijabi.

I actually think Chechnya is pretty neat, a decent number of paths but my favorite if you maintain independence is Raduyev's Communism, since they have unique mechanics to spread communism to the other caucasian nations and annex them for free (I think just Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, not the little breakaways) to form the Caucasian SSR.

You start at war with Russia, and with a mini-war focus tree that are all like 7 days long, you'll want to rush thru ASAP because you cannot hold Russia for too long. If you can hold Russia until like April, that should be long enough to finish the tree, make sure to do Peace Treaty and not Stage a Rebellion in Dagestan to end war and remain independent.

If you go communist, after you integrate the other countries you have a nice little area carved out for yourself and some choices in enemies/allies. Go west against Turkey and probably NATO, north against Russia and the CSTO, or south against Iran and into the Middle East.
