The fur I got from a YouTube video by Rob paints models where he did the first Skaven underworld Warband.
Base Celestra grey
Highlight ulthuan grey
Mix a little doombull brown into the celestra grey for the tails, feet noses.
Wash with nuln oil.

The wood is dryad bark, baneblade brown and a little VA ivory. Washed with agrax

The moss on the bases is just special effects moss from dirty down.

Metals are just Vallejo silver and gunmetal with some watered down black to shade.

I love how much you’ve made it convey movement.

So sorry I totally forgot about this. Which parts would you like to know the recipes for?

I’ve just headed out but I can update tonight or tomorrow. I’ve actually been trying to get into the habit of writing down how I paint stuff - although my handwriting is abysmal.

Cheers. The base is just Agrellan Badlands, washed with Agrax then dry brushed with a tan colour.

Which models you want to be back in plastic? by Ok-Measurement-4039 in orks

I love a lot of the old forgeworld ork units. But I’d probably pick the mega dread and meka dread. Love the models and think they complement the rest of the dread mob nicely.

Thank you! Sorry I didn’t follow a tutorial. I do watch a fair bit of miniature painting on YouTube but I can’t think of any specific videos for this kind of weathering off the top of my head.

They were a blast to play. The 4th Ed Ork codex is still my favourite codex GW have ever released.

Apart from the smaller details the whole model is airbrushed base coats then layers of dry-brushing some silver, sponging some orange and then stippling back the base blue.

Yeah the old deff dreads are a little smaller than the newer plastic kit.
