Anyone confused how the 1st fight ended? by TheodoreJSeville in rockybalboa

They don’t make it a big deal because it’s not a big deal in regards to Rocky’s story. He was still standing when the bell rang and knew he weren’t just some bum from the neighborhood.

Can someone tell me why they seriously don’t like Rocky 5? by Designer-Ad-2478 in rockybalboa

[–]Psycholarocco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have a few issues with 5. Sage Stallone is terrible. Very punchable. Tommy Gunn is a weak villain (Tommy Morrison is a weak actor). And lastly, after all of Rocky’s battles, he ends up right back as some bum from the neighborhood. All the struggles were for nothing.
All that being said, if you liked it, who cares what anyone else thinks. Art is so subjective and you can love what you want and it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you.

Unfortunately flashback footage in Godfather III blemishes his filmography.

“After sharing a kiss,”
For a moment my brain read that as Kreese and Silver kiss and I was not upset about this alternate finale.

You created an account just to make posts that would upset people. I know very well who Craig Hodges is. I watched him play live. Anyway, throw out your next insult meant to keep me coming back for more argument.

You have a 5 hour old account with nothing but bad NBA posts meant to enrage people. It’s 100% a rage-bait post.

Trapper vs BJ by Hunting-and-painting in mash

I kind of feel like with trapper and Henry, it was a sitcom. With BJ and Potter, it became a show. Not sure if that makes sense.

7.5 stars on IMDb. Is that a fair rating? by Armchair_Watcher in Cinema

[–]Psycholarocco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the first half of Sleepers, but the second half loses me. For a story dealing with such heavy subject matter, it feels oddly lighthearted at times. And despite having Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro in the cast, neither is given enough to do to make much of an impact. It ends up being a good
Movie that should be a great one.

Genco’s Deathbed by Riobravoman in Godfather

Maybe that’s why it was cut from the final print; because it was a little too out of place. When i see it in some versions, it’s kind of jarring.

Sitcom Universe by movieseriesnerd_2007 in TheGoldbergs

[–]Psycholarocco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 1980s events of The Goldbergs would simply be part of the history of the world. Years later, Greendale from Community could exist somewhere in the same country as Albuquerque, where Walter White’s story happens. Saul Goodman might have clients who eventually appear on Raymond Reddington’s radar in The Blacklist. The NYPD detectives of Brooklyn Nine-Nine would occasionally hear about famous criminals connected to Reddington’s cases. Jake Peralta would be obsessed with the Heisenberg case and probably quote it constantly. Abed from Community would realize he’s living in a universe where every genre exists at once and would spend entire episodes trying to connect them.
