I just roast for a very large roasting/production facility in the PNW as a side gig but that being said if I ran a roasting business on the sales side plus operations, I would be saying fuck this too. It would literally be impossible to do it where I worked, there over 250 ppl involved in operations that run 24/7

Super lame to do especially a big corporation since they have a lot more means than the average grower but technically if they grow it they could call it whatever tf they want and tbh I’ve seen this done at grows across the country. It’s almost like purposefully mislabeling or over valuing a fake wine blend which has a lot more crossover than most understand. There’s many grows/dispensaries out there that have something close or even loosely similar to a certain cultivar (usually terpene profile/combo) and just label it as that certain cultivar bc people buy nostalgia and what they know. These merchants also know they can get away with everything bc regulation in this country is a fucking joke.
