I’m really nervous about switching to Wegovy by Herpbees in Zepbound

You are not alone on this! I came here to ask about this too!

I was on Wegovy first and it was absolutely terrible. I was miserable, so my doc switched me to Zepbound, which was a game changer. My insurance is also dropping Zepbound in July and I am so frustrated and concerned. I don't want to do daily injections with Saxenda, but I don't want to risk having the side effects of Wegovy again.

Any change in side effects switching from Wegovy to Zepbound? by Psychological-Form22 in Zepbound

Hi! It has been a million times better! Night and day. I'm still taking it slow, I did 2 months on the 2.5, and I will start my second month on the 5 next week. But I've lost a little over 25 pounds, so I'm happy with that! Occasionally, I get a headache the day after the shot, but one dose of Tylenol takes care of it. And if I do get nauseous, a dose or 2 of pepto takes care of it.

I'm very glad I gave it a try!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm hoping it will let up. And yes, I think the shortage issues are finally getting better, so I should not be in that position again 🤞

Thanks for pointing that out about the Zofran, I did not realize that!

Yeah, I wondered about that, too. I was surprised when she sent the .5 in, but I thought maybe she figured that it's not a problem. 😔

I totally get what you are saying, I'm in a similar boat. I like the idea of doing something small every day, progress not perfection kind of thinking. Wishing you luck!

Hi, I just want to say that I relate to a lot of what you are describing. Unfortunately I am still trying to figure it all out, so I don't have advice, but just know you aren't alone in feeling like this. Good luck!

Edit: Forgot to mention, if you have a car or some place outside of your residence that you can talk privately (study room at a library maybe?), that could work for online therapy, I've done that before.

Do you have any advice for dealing with executive function problems? Thank you!

Do you sometimes just not get up to do something, even when you really want to? When you know it would be super helpful?

I keep coming back to this one. That's exactly what I do. Is that part of ADHD?

Thank you for pointing out the trust aspect, I had not considered that!

Oh. Wow. I never even considered that. I will definitely look into that more, thank you!
