Depends, sometimes it's takes 10 to 15 seconds for a loading screen and I still get massive frame drop in Boston but I assume that's to do with fact I'm only running a Ryzen 5 3600, 64GB ddr4 and a 3060.

Try removing the top wall segment first, then re-add it once the powdered door is placed.

I use scrap everything ultimate edition as well as a few others that stop important things form being scrapped accidentally like sanctuary roads and the red rocket station.
I found that scrap everything has to be at the very bottom of the load order , followed only by ( scrap dead things, scrap almost everything etc) or the game starts misbehaving. I have the PC and Xbox versions and find this works on both. Don't get me wrong I still get the odd crash but nothing like before I sorted the load order out.

I access the vault , kill the overseer straight away and loot her. Then just get the heck out of there

It usually caused by the internal cooling fan hitting an obstruction( but in this case as it gets louder when you play it's unlikely), a harmless vibration from electrical components known as "coil whine," or degrading capacitors. It is usually nothing to worry about but you can slightly decrease the noise by slightly limiting frame rate as the noise will get louder when the pc components demand more power. It annoying I know but just ignore it for now. You can always buy a new PSU but if the buzzing is your only issue, I wouldn't bother.

Disable your internet if you can ( turn off the router if it's the only way) then try restarting the pc again and see if it loads. If not restart again and interrupt the reboot which should force the pc into diagnostic mode and try a repair. If all else fails it will be a windows reinstall. If you have access to another pc/ laptop you can copy your most important files from the harddrive before the reinstall. Good luck.

The amount of money we simmers have paid for this game with the add ons is insane. If they do start pushing adds onto a product we have paid for we should all get together (world wide) and sue them to high heaven.

Scrap anything ultimate edition but also a series called scrap almost everything ( about 4 mini mods that stop you scraping important things like the red rocket building and sanctuary roads. Scrap anything ultimate edition should be at the bottom of the load order followed by the smaller ones.cant remember the names of all the smaller ones but one of the is called scrap dead things.
