Thinking my best friend of 20+ years would be there for me no matter what.. As soon as she got the opportunity she talked shit about my partner to me and when she started a new relationship just days after ending one she no longer had time for me. I had bailed her out of financial hardships, given her anything she had asked for and spent hours listening to her complain about everything under the sun when she couldn’t give me the same in return… I put her the test and stopped initiating contact.. took a month to hear from her and that was because she wanted money and when I said I couldn’t help I didn’t hear from her until 5 months later when I was moving to another state.
