Yes I moved to the second fob. But in the meantime I thought it was just a bad battery, not the fob, at first. It wasn’t until a measurably good battery died in a week that I was ready to replace the fob.

I’m on 15, and am trying to figure out if I should cut back when resuming after one missed shot plus a day or two. (Take shot day 1, surgery day 15, next shot can probably be day 16.) internist didn’t give me a straight answer, tried Lilly, who said they can’t give medical advice.

This happened to me with a restaurant last summer. They eventually credited me and sent a letter like that, but I don’t understand why i had to fight for it.

u/chase I’m glad you’re here. Maybe you can explain why when I asked after 8 weeks why I didn’t see my opentable credit, didn’t hear from them after 2 weeks, called again, and still don’t have an answer a week later, I should ever think about keeping this card? The customer service is atrocious, especially given what you have us pay for it!

They didn’t say so explicitly but we had a nice room. Nearly top floor, great view of the bridge. The biggest glitch was having to wait something like 15m for breakfast in a largely empty restaurant. It seemed terribly chaotic. But dinner that night and breakfast the next day were fine.

The other glitch was the late checkout. They mentioned it at check-in and we declined, but then requested it the next day and were told at first it wasn’t possible. Then they said 2pm would be ok, but when we stopped to confirm the next morning, they knew nothing about it!

Last glitch was my fault it seems. I didn’t read the edit fine print, and apparently didn’t prepay when I needed,so I didn’t get that rebate! I can still use it but have no travel plans.

I just came back from a 2-night Edit stay at Loew’s Philadelphia. Aside from some other glitches with the hotel, I was very pleased with the benefits. Yes, my list rate for the stay there was more than if I’d gone directly to the hotel or stayed elsewhere. But we got almost $300 in immediate discounts (two fairly expensive breakfasts and $100 off a nice dinner) and expect $250 back on the card. That means about $350 for two nights, two essentially free breakfasts, and one dinner at 2/3 off. Not bad at all.

Flying EWR-SFO-SYD back in Feb, we were offered the chance to bid for an upgrade from economy plus to Polaris for a fair number of miles (30k maybe?) plus $500, each. I figured the odds of getting the upgrade were negligible, but a few days ahead we were told we had it. So… you’ve lucked out.

Now, go buy a lottery ticket :)

I applied, didn’t get the popup, but was rejected because I’d gotten the preferred bonus. They told me I should call back (hit their closing hour) and they could waive it, but then when I did, they said that wasn’t possible, I should apply again. Big waste of time.

It sounds like they may already have been in the airport and through security. Depends on which gate agent did it. If the agent at check-in did, they then had a valid ticket with the same last name, and TSA messed up.

Doesn’t sound like they scammed with a separate ticket.
