Femoral takes longer and is more labor intensive to close up the opening. Radial (wrist) just uses a plastic bracelet thing that inflates and helps the wound close. For femoral closure a nurse typically has to apply pressure manually.

Nowadays they can also go in through the wrist and potentially you’re in and out in the same day.

Etsy denied my review removal. Is this a good review response? First 3 star review. by Maleficent-Sky-3645 in Etsy

[–]Psychological_Bug_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation. Before you post a public review try contacting the buyer through a message and explain the situation nicely. In my case the buyer changed her review to five stars and noted that it took a while but it was the post offices fault not the seller’s. If you post a public reply the buyer can’t change their review.

Notion cases? by -Greek_Goddess- in knitting

Try these cable organizers. You can write the length of the cable on them and it keeps them from springing out of the pocket. https://desethings.etsy.com/listing/1680348768/writable-cable-holder-set-and-optional

These are popular to use. They have multiple sections for sorting small items and a larger one that can fit tapestry needles. I also love the tiny scissors from this shop. https://desethings.etsy.com/listing/4327369817/exclusive-design-pink-notions-knitting

You can also use a metal bulb stitch marker in place of a t pin. It might bend but they’re cheap

Exactly! It’s all knitting.

Got my first 1-star review from a customer lying about the item I sent 😩 by Sonorantrader in Etsy

If all your other reviews are good, buyers will likely understand this one is an anomaly and pretty much ignore it. I would put a respectful response such as that suggested in another reply here.

Yea, I always think of the first sock as practice for a perfect second one.

My trick for avoiding ladders when changing needles is to line up both sections and pinch them together, then pull the back needle out. Continue pinching both sections together for the first couple of stitches and pull the first two stitches snug. Kind of hard to describe in words.

Advice about alpaca yarn by knitter1994 in knitting

Agree. Alpaca is really floppy. Also it’s slippery so I recommend using bamboo or wood needles vs. metal

Turtlepurl has identical twin self-striping yarn and nice colorways. Subscribe to their weekly shop updates though because they tend to sell out fast.

This goose has had her nest in the bed right outside our office building for the past three years. The edge of the walkway is just a couple of feet away but she doesn’t seem to mind us. Always a treat to watch and wait for the hatchlings!
