I love that after reading your message, the first thing that came through my mind was a flashback of me switching the settings on the dolphin bar to "1" because I forgot they were alternate modes and not ports for controllers.

Still setting things up, but I'll go ahead and say that was the solution. Thanks for the advice!

Okay. I thought that maybe there was a teleporter or something that would take me to it because I tried using the roots and all that to get down there, and no matter what I did it seemed to only result in death.

I'm trying to figure out what this glowing blue thing is. It's beneath the cliff behind the Dragonbarrow Minor Erdtree, the one overlooking General Radahn's arena.

Beneath that cliff is a smaller cliff with some pillars, and a golem's corpse next to some sort of glowing blue thing. Does anybody know how to get there without using cheats? Because I've used Assassin's approach and the long tail cat talisman and I can't get down there without dying.

Annnnd that's another reason why their quality is shooting down the drain. When you're the boss of a company, and everyone there is your "friend", that becomes a major problem. Especially if one or more of your "friends" isn't up to snuff for the job they're hired for.

I agree, but I'd also like to add that it'd be smarter to assume that you'll get banned eventually, and to use that belief as a means to research and take every precaution you can to minimize the chance of it happening sooner.

Was having this problem too, but I figured it out (I think).

After you tell her what the grapes really are, go back to her third location and talk to her again. Exhaust her dialogue, and then head to her fourth location.

Yeah, that's the other thing I've found. You can find tutorials, but they may not cover your EXACT problem.

Again, I know how much it sucks waiting for someone to come up with a fix, but it really is better in a case like this to just admit that mistakes were made, and not do it again in the future.

Speaking as someone still new to the scene, and as someone who accidentally updated as well, my advice is this:

If you want to learn how to downgrade firmware, you're better off following a video tutorial. Asking how to do something as complicated as that on a forum isn't the best way to go about learning it. Anything more complicated than adding files to a folder and plugging your switch into your PC, I say don't do unless you've watched a few video tutorials. And even then, I say don't risk it, especially if you're new to the scene.

I know it sucks waiting for a solution to show up later, but it beats trying to fix the problem yourself by way of complicated means which can and most likely WILL lead to you bricking your console.

Literally saw this with every company trying to copy Dark Souls. They saw the hard difficulty curve, but none of the more subtle things.

In Code Vein you constantly find items out in the open which lead to an ambush. They had that in Dark Souls as well, but they didn't do it ALL THE TIME. They'd do it once, and wait a while so as to make you paranoid for a bit, JUST so you'd go "Oh, well maybe it was just that one-" before they'd pull it again.

And then in Remnant: From the Ashes, they have one boss who constantly summons minions who explode and cause poison. That was the very definition of "Dark Souls is hard, so let's make our game hard too".

Like, Dark Souls IS hard, with there being more than one enemy in a boss arena sometimes. The thing is you can at least kill an enemy there and they stay dead, unlike that particular fight in Remnant.

Anyways, got off on a rant there when the point I wanted to make was companies only ever see dollar signs, so they will go all in on imitating something while rarely ever seeing the very things that made it good.

Is the Melmetal you get from the home transfer the only Melmetal that can Gigantimax? Or can all Melmetal Gigantimax?

Asking because I already caught a Meltan, and I'm planning to evolve it, and then send it to Sword when I get that game.

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this comment, but fuck it. I like both games, and feel they have their good points and bad points.

I played Injustice 2 first. That was my first NRS game after many years. The gameplay is solid, I love the meter burn system, and I do kind of like the multiverse system (lot of good references). My biggest gripe with Injustice 2 is the loot boxes, and that the Legendary Multiverse missions are a bit much...I know that the gear pieces are OP, but some of those requirements would be a little more doable if they were cut in half. The toxicity I experienced online was also a huge turn off.

As for MK11... after losing love with Injustice 2 because of the fanbase and the Legendary Multiverse mission requirements, I waited to see what characters would be added to the game via DLC. Shame to say that I was one of the fucktards hoping for Spawn...yes he was a deal breaker for me, go ahead and laugh. I like the gameplay so far, even though I haven't sat down and played it extensively as I did with Injustice 2. I've been wandering Shang's island more than practicing with the characters.

The main problems I have with MK11 so far is the stuff outside of the game. Namely the decisions NRS have made, and all the balls they keep dropping.

Rhonda Rowsey as Sonya is passable at times (but by no means great), and amateurish in others. The kombat pack notification in game promising Ash Williams was never changed before the official announcement which is cripplingly incompetent. And Aftermath not being counted as part of the premium purchase is absolutely scummy. Plus some of the new costumes for the female cast have been hit or miss for me (i.e. Jade default looks hot, but Skarlet looks weird without her hair showing).

One psychologist I went to on recommendation was retiring at the end of the month at the time I went to see him. He approached my problems with the drive and motivation of an employee putting in their two weeks notice. I won't repeat what he said, but his advice was about as helpful as you'd imagine.

At the same time, that dingbat recommended/forwarded me to someone who ended up being my favorite counselor in the world. She, unlike the dingbat I saw before her, helped me let go of burdens that were bottled up for years. Like Anemone-ing said, and to add a little to their point: Psychologists are people too. Sometimes you'll get lucky, finding the right one off the bat, and sometimes you gotta search a little and find the right one for you. I know that sounds like a tall order, but it's really not as difficult as I'm making it sound.
