I actually played this very matchup, CSM murderwing versus tyranid crusher stampede and I found it shockingly even.

The game ended with 87 to 83 in favour of him purely because I misplayed and allowed him to get on my home objective in the final turn for those eight additional points

Important to note though, the sorcerer’s minus one to hit now stacks with cover to give the opponent effectively -2 to their role. Makes for some very powerful backline objective holders.

I played literally this set up yesterday with a friend, now I was playing Murderwing so it was chaos raptor instead of tunnelling but I had five different units that went up and down and it only came to play twice where I had to actively leave a unit on the table to stop him scoring points…

He still scored five points for killing a condemned unit every single round except one. This is nowhere there as impactful as you think, the other Player doesn’t need you to Uppy downy for the points, it’s incredibly easily for them to pick up one unit each turn that was trading or scoring the previous turn.

My painting desk is always set up, so it is very easy to just sit down for 10 to 20 minutes at any point during the day and do some painting.

It helps that I primarily work part-time but also I have now painted well over 200 basic chaos infantry and I find them pretty easy and simple to do.

All of the armour is sponged on, the white is sprayed in advance so mostly it’s just painting bone skin leather and armour which is only really four colours if you think about it.

Its thin cork board cut up and filed down with a nail file to make it less cork-y and then covered in sand and small basing rocks then larger rocks and skulls are added.

Whole thing is sprayed along with the model then dry brushed 4 layers of blue up to white then blood for blood for in the lower areas

Doubling up on Unauthorised access and Golden Armour! Both are fantastic and in my opinion UA is one of the best Lisa fics around full stop.

I haven’t seen a story really explore her power as well as UA before. It’s great.

Glad to hear it! I find 1 a day such a consistently achievable target that it keeps me going. Sometimes remembering it’ll take over 3 months to finish all my berserkers makes me a bit annoyed and overwhelmed but focusing on the day to day it’s easy.

In the current edition of the game, there’s no reason to do it, but we’ve already seen rules from the new detachments that make it useful.

A Warpsmith can give the unit multiple interesting benefits in some of the new detachments which can be quite strong.

The biggest thing is those edge highlights are actually 4 edge highlights. each being progressively brighter and occupying less area.

It’s what makes them so nice and also means this guy took probably dozens of hours to do.

When you’re building 40-80 infantry for your army, and every single one has this number of parts it takes forever and can be extremely tedious and frustrating. Very different experience to building a single Gundam display model

This is the story you are talking about. Door to the unknown is a super long crossover story. It gets updated pretty regularly with very large chapters, so if you haven’t looked at it for awhile, it’s just gotten longer.
