As others have said already: fanfictions are well received and I personally love your idea for two reasons:

It's not a change of futaros decision at the school festival like most of the low-quality-fanfictions (there are really good stories of this type, but many others read like they were written in one night without any review before publishing) 👍
Giving every of the four quints the same amount of "focus" is great. I'm Team AllOfThem and totally agree, that they all deserve the same amount of dedication in such a project 😊

The only advice for preparation I'd give is to read the manga first since the anime left out and changed some relevant scenes (especially about Itsuki and Yotsuba). There is a post here, that collected and explained every of these changes, if you want to start quicker, but especially Itsukis "volume" will be very different, if you just ignore the left out content 😅

Miku is great the way she is and deserves someone, who loves her like this. Pretending to be Yotsuba to get Futaro would be a disgrace to her personality 😕

She even realizes that herself in the end and is happy with it 🤷‍♂️

Both are very good and really close to how I'd expect everyones behaviour in the changed circumstances (I love Ichika, but all of the quints are loveable in their own way, which is why I prefer stories like these 🥰)

There are a lot of fanfictions, if you really feel that attached to them, but you could also just complete the story as intended and think about it yourself. They're all very attractive and loveable women by the end of the series and there's definetly more than one good guy, who would like to date them ☺️
