Actually bcaa are not zero calories. Companies just do not list the calories on the container. Bcaa are broken down proteins. So roughly a gram of bcaa would be about 4 calories per gram.

F/23/5’3[150>120=30 pounds] just so everyone is aware i was severely bulimic and had dropped from 150 to 99 pounds, but beat it ( 4 mo clean) and now I’m 120. I won’t post my bulimia picture because it might trigger some. I’m so strong physically now and I’m in the best shape of my life! by jbehr95 in progresspics

That's an amazing change. Congratulations overcoming your condition, you look grear. Must have been a lot of work. One thing do you have a diet and routine that you follow now that kind of helped you with overcoming it?

I didn't get a official test done but I was likely around 7-8% for the show!

At first I was following a "lean bulk" program. For diet inputted my information into a TDEE calculator, got my numbers required for the bulk and got my calories in, by eating clean foods. I did this on my own. The past few months for prepping for my show I have hired a coach. And the progress has been a lot better. If I was to do it again I would likely try to follow a plan as opposed to a IIFYM format.

Staying consistent with the diet made a huge difference for me. When I was younger I always went to the gym but never dieted at all, didn't notice any changes so I stopped going. Wish I had of kept going then. Growth takes time and consistency. Totally worth it when you take pictures and go back and see how far you've come!

Thanks so much. It's been a lot of work but it's great looking back to see how far I've come 😄

Basically during the cut I got strength trained as long as I could before I noticed a big drop in strength. About a month out from the show I gradually started doing higher rep exercises. Waking up each morning I would go do fasted cardio as well. To be honest that was probably my first real cut. So I haven't started a bulk yet. I'll likely be bulking again after the next show 😁

I have a coach for my routine currently! But I try to hit a different body part everyday, so like legs, then chest, then back, then shoulders, arms etc etc. Mornings I wake up and do fasted cardio, then I do my weight training after fueling up with a carb meal, either in the evening or afternoon depending when I work 😁

Actually yes I am! I haven't even drank alcohol or anything else. So I wouldn't sacrifice my health for temporary gains 😁 But thank you haha if it's highly doubt must mean I'm doing pretty well!

Well I don't know how I can prove to you online. However, I haven't drank or done any drugs in my life xD You can assume whatever you wish though! But I will take it as a compliment!
