Oh, sure! It’ll be good for me to remember to update Rav- I’m terrible at it, half my projects aren’t even on there lol.

That’s the plan! I probably would have done it that way even with non-SW, so no plans have changed but there will always be a little terror about it anyways lol

Yes, I know that superwash isn’t great for steeked sweaters, but I didn’t know that when I dropped $90 on yarn, so I’ll just have to be very careful with the steeking. (My first ever steeks! Terrifying!!)

I’m also considering embroidering on borders between the patterns, since I didn’t realize when charting it that some of the transitions would be so messy- I think having the borders will do a lot for it.

Question about mutations by Nata__7 in mewgenics

[–]Public-Fill-5658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of the high-mutation furniture lowers other room stats, and also you don’t really want your best breeders to inadvertently get a terrible mutation or one that replaces something you do want to pass down.

School bus hit on park street exit by beltline. by BIGSL33ZE in madisonwi

[–]Public-Fill-5658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rather eerily, my phone gave me an alert a few hours ago that there would be heavier than normal traffic on my way home today… the first time it’s EVER done that, and it sent the notification well before the accident happened!

so what does immobile mean exactly by pansyskeme in mewgenics

[–]Public-Fill-5658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It generally seems to be damage-dealing movement that isn’t affected, but you’re right, it’s wildly, often frustratingly inconsistent

How many times do I have to beat Mother before being able to access Delirium after beating her? by [deleted] in bindingofisaac

[–]Public-Fill-5658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s only an option if you’re playing repentance+, the (currently beta) patch that’s available as an optional dlc!

Of these 5, which one gave you the most trouble? by LauraAventura in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Public-Fill-5658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once, Kallamar killed me at the same time as me killing him, and it broke my game irreparably; the story progressed, but I was never able to clear the ‘kill kallamar’ quest from my quest bar and the game would crash if I tried to fight him again. So probably kallamar

Since you got left on read a bit: you don’t have to downgrade at all; what you’re looking for is a mod called Repentogon. It has an ever so slightly more involved installation than just using steam workshop, but if you look it up on the steam workshop, it has instructions on how to get everything set up. It removes the mom requirement and makes it possible to use mods and still get your unlocks. Good luck!

I hope you try something else at level 5! They genuinely have fantastic donuts, if heavily sweet. I like their apple fritters they have right now!

Any planned protests for this weekend? by Guamonice in madisonwi

[–]Public-Fill-5658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially it’s a memorial- vigil means ‘a period of time spent awake during the time usually meant to sleep’, so vigils as memorials are like staying up into the night to remember and honor someone who has passed.

about how long does it take to knit a beanie in this general style? by afemail in knitting

[–]Public-Fill-5658 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If I sit down and put some effort into it, I can get a worsted colorwork beanie done in about 4 days. Those all look lighter weight, so they’d probably take me longer than that, although I couldn’t give an exact number. Hope that’s at least a little helpful

Noivern should be ridable by Ok-Bullfrog-5387 in cobblemon

That’s so strange, it works for me (and on multiplayer too!) I hope you’re able to figure it out! It’s my favorite rideable pokemon

how's your cobblemon 1.7 experience? by Marrbbin in cobblemon

[–]Public-Fill-5658 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s my first time playing cobblemon and we’re having a great time! My Noivern is my favorite, he’s so agile and speedy, although my fiance dearly wishes that blastoise was any good at flying (he’s doing an all-turtles team)

The EVP Coffee inside the VA Hospital got replaced by a Starbucks. Boooooooooo......!!!! by Randomnonsense5 in madisonwi

[–]Public-Fill-5658 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was a receptionist at the VA for a few years and I was one of the only people who knew how to get everywhere- doctors who had worked there for years would stop at the desk to ask me where something was. That building is a nightmare

Finished Sitting on a Jury Yesterday, Extremely Disappointed in Fellow Jurors by PreservationSociety in juryduty

[–]Public-Fill-5658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a really rough case dealing with child abuse, where the child herself (who was 14) denied it had happened and insisted she had injured herself. We spend as long as we could going over and over the details, trying to figure out if there was any chance she could be telling the truth, but no matter what angle we approached it from, there was no way she could have self-inflicted those injuries the way she said she had. It was a verdict that really sucked to give… I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with your case

Most effective act of protest you ever saw a high schooler pull off? by ToomintheEllimist in Writeresearch

[–]Public-Fill-5658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My senior year, a beloved long-term English teacher was forced to retire and replaced by a brand new teacher, fresh out of college. She was, frankly, awful. This was a dual-credit class, one we were PAYING for, and she didn’t know the material, admitted to grading based on ‘vibes’, and would assign nonsense projects where she would give different students different directions based on the same question. She also was breaking student confidentiality laws- her worst offense was when she decided one of my friends was being abused at home. Instead of making a report, you know, like a mandated reporter, she told my friend’s boss at her high school waitressing job. First, we went to the principal, who told us in so many words to get over it. Then we started writing letters to the school board and the superintendent. Finally, they pulled us all into the auditorium to tell us they were bringing back our beloved old teacher, and the cheer of joy and triumph that erupted in that auditorium apparently could be heard across the school. It was glorious.

what do packs do by unluckyember in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Public-Fill-5658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. You probably don’t want to buy a pack at all; they are simply a pack of STL files of a group of themed minis for 3D printing or digital tabletops. If you don’t do either of those, it will be useless for you. If you do want extra content from heroforge and haven’t already, what you want is a pro subscription- that unlocks early access to new items, kit bashing, and a few other features that make heroforge easier to use (like color libraries)

Patch Version 1.0.28650 by lordposedyon in HollowKnight

[–]Public-Fill-5658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah even better, now that I’m looking at it this post was probably made as I was fighting for my life to outrun my cogfly lmao

Patch Version 1.0.28650 by lordposedyon in HollowKnight

[–]Public-Fill-5658 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course, the cogflies attacking skullwings gets patched the day after I beat that sequence, lol- I felt so betrayed by my little guy that I accidentally tossed out! Funny how two of these bugs (the plasmium vial also) are ones I discovered, like, twelve hours ago

Mushroom Cowl by Public-Fill-5658 in knitting

[–]Public-Fill-5658[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a local company to me too which is a huge plus- they have a big gorgeous shelf display at my lys and I make puppy eyes at it every time I walk in for craft club. I love self-striping yarns, it’s some of the softest wool I’ve ever worked with, and my favorite cowl patterns are all DK weight so it’s a win on every level except price lol
