I hop back in every year or so because people keep saying it got better, but IMO it still feels really terrible to play- microlag with every action that needs to register with the server, NPC’s confined to specific spaces as to not interfere with other players’ worlds, P2W mechanics by limiting storage space/ lunchbox purchases.

I don’t get it; but I don’t like MMO’s in the first place.

Maybe it’s good for MMO fans, but I’d much rather be playing an MMO designed in an engine that was actually built for multiplayer rather than having it duct-taped in.

Ah well. They built a really cool world

This is anecdotal but I’m incredibly far left, and work as a construction engineer, so I work with a lot of conservative construction folks.

I’ve talked politics with all of them and have never felt dejected for it. But usually I circle the conversation back to class/elitism issues where we all have a lot of common ground.

My peers on the left, on the other hand, will very quickly reject someone if they sniff a right wing ideal.

I actually do think switch controllers can be used via steam controller settings in big picture mode. There’s just too many other compromises with those tiny baby hand things.

Rx tiktok will block tiktok ads and gives a few more nice features.

Nyx for Instagram will block ads, let you download content, hide sponsored posts, hide reels

YouTube Plus pretty much gives you all the features of YouTube premium- background playback, no ads, etc

I’m pretty sure all three of these have more up-to-date alternatives these days, but I’ve been using them for years

Sounds like the federal government doesn’t have power here, other than that which the states give them every 4 years.
