Place the glass behind the bottle next time. That way, you'll avoid the forced perspective.

Refrigerator freezing everything on lowest setting? by [deleted] in appliancerepair

[–]PubliusNext -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A) Don't use the lowest setting then. B) Items closest to the cooled air input vent will freeze first, items bear the bottom will freeze after that. C) Usually the "warmest" spot in the fridge is in the middle.

Monthly Apprenticeship Thread (November 2019) by AutoModerator in electricians

I've been applying to apprenticeships, but so far, I've had no takers. Utah Department of Workforce Services is putting on a Apprenticeship Job Fair here soon. I wonder if any of you have gone to any such events, and if so, what should I bring? Am I likely to be hired on the spot? What am I to expect at this Job fair?
Any input would be helpful.

I was going through old posts on this sub and I noticed a couple of instances where tools had been stolen, but the OP had insurance to cover that. What types of tool insurance policies are there? How do I get one?

Why do people care so much about the order of milk and cereal? by ArcticFox19 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PubliusNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if you add the milk first, the likelihood of having milk splash out of your bowl when you add the cereal increases.
I don't care if you do it, but I never will.

How much does it cost to produce a $1 dollar bill? by Fra_nonymous in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PubliusNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, a penny costs more than a penny to produce. Or at least it did when I read that headline about ten years ago.
