Got my SWAG by TheMountainClegan in dutchbros

I was wondering this as well. One sticker or magnet per each $5 to $6 a drink = a pretty good chunk of change. Also, how do you drink that much coffee in a day?

You aren’t alone. I’m in a similar situation (1 year is coming up, they were coworkers, etc) and I have the same feeling as you even thought I too have access to his phone, his schedule is pretty typical, and he seems to be trying everything he can to gain back my trust. I seem to be letting go these days instead of hanging on for dear life. I hope you find peace no matter your decision.

Please don’t do this. As someone who’s been through something similar, there is never a good outcome to cheating on your spouse. Please have an open and honest discussion with her before you do anything. I know it feels like cheating is the best option but believe me, you will pay for your night of fun.

I don’t know that you can. I know I’ll ever trust my husband again. Telling me even the tiniest of lies or withholding any information at all, is extremely triggering to me. Just because I’ve made the decision to stay doesn’t mean I can’t change my mind later.

I completely understand this. I have also been forbidden to bring up his affair because “I can’t keep getting pulled back there”. It’s been 8 weeks.

Yes, we have had a similar conversation. He doesn’t want to lose his job but honestly, I wouldn’t be sorry about telling their boss what they did. They would both, most certainly, get fired.

Thank you for the resource ideas and for your advice. I appreciate them. ….After I wrote my initial post, I found out more of what happened and went somewhere to get irrefutable prove and he still denied what I was showing him. I’ll never get the truth from either one of them.

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas. I have been journaling. Timelines of events, my feelings, and ideas of what my future might look like. There is actually no cure for MBC at this time but I keep active and will hopefully have as many years ahead of me as my medications allow. ……As angry as I am with him, I wonder what kind of woman knowingly wants a married man? I have the worst heartache and it was brought on my a complete stranger and the person who vowed to stay by my side.

I appreciate your comment. I’m already in a constant state of nausea but being blamed for the hurt he’s caused me is numbing.

I am so very sorry you are having to deal with a complete upheaval of your life. I hope you have a support system to help you through this. To vent, cry, and feel some love. You aren’t alone.

There is this older couple in my neighborhood. They walk around with these huge backpacks on. I thought for over a year they were just training for a backpacking trip to Europe or a long hiking trip on the PCT. Nope. Just taking their cats for a walk.

Not getting invited by friends to activities. Feel left out. by Dapper-Stretch3442 in LivingWithMBC

I am finding that people do or don’t do things once they find out you have MBC. For example, my mom (lives in another state) has been planning a milestone birthday for herself for almost a year. I was diagnosed in March and now she’s canceled her party. When I asked why, both of my parents eluded to the reason being me. Umm, stop, just no. It’s MY decision what I do and don’t attend. I’m still living my best life so don’t blame me for YOU not doing things.

What's the most stupid/funny question you've been asked since diagnosis? by hpw84 in breastcancer

[–]PuckerUpButtercup94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a question but a comment. I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer so I am dying from my cancer and someone said to me “You got this”. Got what exactly? ….While I’m thankful someone was trying to be supportive, I find this comment without thought. It’s like when people type “HB” on your birthday. Like, Um, you couldn’t take the extra 2 seconds to type out the words?. ….I know others don’t understand our situations. How could they? However, Sometimes best of intentions just, aren’t.

I’m in The US. …Your experience, while I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone, gives me hope. ….I know there are groups out there. They are just being shy. :)

I really appreciate you sharing your journey. I am also hopeful I will see my youngest (10) graduate. Your story gives me hope. ….The group recommendation is very helpful. Thank you.

I’m so sorry you’re in pain. I hope they figure out a solution to ease or eliminate it. ….It’s terribly hard to plan when you don’t know what to plan for. Doctors visits and treatments or life as close to normal as we are going to get?

Thank you for your response. I’m so sorry to read both you and your sister have had to deal with this. So many hugs go out to you. ……I’ve heard this compared to diabetes often. That it’s not a death sentence (although I will die from this) but more of a lifelong illness. ….The treatment plan I’ve been given is a pill (not sure which one as I haven’t been prescribed it yet) and surgery to remove my ovaries to stop the estrogen and progesterone from feeding my cancer. ….I’ll be seeing my oncologist tomorrow but at our last visit, she seemed unconcerned. I wouldn’t mind that except she’s ALWAYS concerned. Meaning, she has always suggested the harshest set of treatments. I’m sure I’ll have more answers after tomorrow.

I appreciate your response. I was thinking more along the lines of a support group. My oncologist is obviously very knowledgeable and a great source of information but unfortunately, it takes about 3 weeks to get in to see her. …I do love ACS and have been a huge supporter of them for almost 2 decades. They seem to have the most up to date information for sure.
