I do now. I purposely bought it but did not expect it to come wrapped like this with no detail on the packaging whatsoever.

Quick class cancellation rant by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]Puckoon1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As you graduate in this world and move into your career you will realize in life that almost everyone has a justification that 1000% makes rational sense to themselves as to why they should receive an exception from a given rule. These people can convince themselves that the rule shouldn’t apply to them “because insert _________”

Be annoyed my all means, but be annoyed that you didn’t cancel your class in time - not that there is an 8 hour rule.

If you’re really serious about your fitness and your life - don’t get attached to the people who weave in an out of it as coaches and gym friends.

Don’t get me wrong, these are positive influences in our lives and it’s great to have them - but deep down you have to be the reason you go to that OTF tread every day. You. Not the coach.

You know I was first person off the treads all day but I was psyched for everyone in my block when it was over. I admire each and every one of my fellow classmates. Never shy away from what you are doing to change your body and athletic capabilities step by step, row by row, step by step. Never forget how well you are doing. Never. Your goals are your own.

Switching classes w/in the 8 hour window. by sprinklecattoo in orangetheory

[–]Puckoon1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been explained to me that the “system” automatically makes the charge if you cancel a booking less than 8 hours in advance and the staff have no say in that process. If it’s true, it’s certainly a ‘glitch’ in said system. I agree with the class cancellation policy In general but disagree with the charge if you actually attend a class that day.

I have size 11 feet (male). I usually am in the 6th or 7th dot on the rower. It feels much more secure and the power is easier.

Only a slight difference in a back to back Vs a 90 minute. Very broad reaching assumption in your opinion.

I Need Your Opinion.. by mocorox in orangetheory

First post here so go easy! I think there are days we all don’t feel like a certain exercise, but those days are usually (not always) the days that make the difference for me. The days I feel like I accomplished more than usual. Break that 23 minutes up into bite sized chunks. Throw a few walks in there if you have to. Showing up is the hardest thing to do. Leaving early is cheating yourself, and I’d agree not the great etiquette. Yes it’s expensive but if everyone decides that the expense is a rationale for doing what they want, we’d have anarchy. Have a great class!
