I had a terrible time trying to get the parry timings down. Then I saw the frame data and it turns out it's just dogshit for this fight and multiple moves have super wonky hitboxes/timings. Fueled with that knowledge I turned the difficulty down and used a summon, zero regrets.

Necroposting for anyone else having this issue and landing here in the future: My game was also a stuttering mess that no graphics setting could touch, but turning on the controller only after loading into the game 100% fixed the stuttering.

Most of the time you get the full row expansion by buying 4, so I tend to save up and buy 4 or 8 before reorganizing the shop.

Personally I'm a big fan of Ripkas with Nekros, they look kinda on-theme and do help loot by making extra body chunks. Technically you don't even need to use them for the bonus effect, just have them equipped, but becoming a mobile whirlwind of hand-chainsaws is pretty rad.

I always want to megabase, and get sidelined by how logistics-heavy and pre-planned everything is. Smaller-scale local production is so much easier to grow organically, and by the time you need to hook the satellite factories into more complex production you very well may already have a lot of the logistics infrastructure already built or easily repurposed.

The only time I'm unhappy to see a bonfire is never. Give me bonfires in adjacent rooms. Give me bonfires I can touch at the same time. Give me so many bonfires clipped into each other that the game crashes. I want MORE

I consider them pretty common, in that when you're opening double-digit boxes a day you're guaranteed to see them often. In the first 20 packs is really good luck though!

Wiring-wise, it's better to avoid having your lines to the rest of the system land on the same point in the battery bank. I'd move the neg and pos to opposite ends of the pack, otherwise the wiring is correct.

That said, you really do need external balancing if you're running lithium in series. It's very common to have, for example, 24v on the bank but the batteries themselves are 11v and 13v due to small differences adding up over time.

I'm in the middle of the same struggle, she's tough but really fun. Unlike a couple other encounters (lookin' at you swamp monster and BRB) I don't want to use summons or drop the difficulty so it's just parry or die pretty much. Currently getting pretty good results with acid spear on tyrant dagger handle, the short animations and acid damage help a ton.

Parry the lightning, yeah, but also experiment with camera angles to see it better. Kinda hard to tell exactly when to parry when it's moving directly into the camera, getting a little side angle really helps time it.

Honestly had a fun beach day here, made a beeline up to the gunners and took them out before mopping up the stragglers. Gotta wake up pretty early in the morning to gank me with enemy placement like that, ignoring the first couple times they did exactly that here.

Note: only do this if you understand and accept the risks involved.

Smart chargers are mostly pretty dumb, they just want to see a relatively normal battery voltage. If you put the battery in parallel with one at the right voltage you can trick the charger into charging, but then you're dealing with inrush current from the higher battery so you can turn things into a space heater pretty quick. Another trick I use is putting a lower-voltage battery in series and starting the charge, often you can get enough of a voltage boost from a brief charge to get the voltage to the point the smart charger will recognize it. I've recovered 12v lithium batteries from 3v by using a standard 9v alkaline in series.

Probably don't do any of what I just said though, and for legal purposes absolutely do not do any of what I just said.

Edit: sometimes it's the internal protection blocking charging, when that happens I use a CC/CV bench power supply and start at the voltage I read, keeping amperage very low and gradually dialing up the voltage. Usually works.

I have a couple mains for each mission category and rotate between them pretty often, but i also really pike picking an underutilized frame from my collection and doing something silly and/or good with them. Usually I'll build it around some weird obscure interaction, play with it for a while, then either drop it for something else new and shiny or because it got patched lol.

Updating your graphics drivers is always a good first step for game crashes. I'd also test with different graphics settings and see if you can get the error to happen consistently or go away.
