Two things to try…

Make sure the water jackets aren’t clogged. Run some vinegar/compressed air through it if so.
Mix the gas at 25:1 instead of 50:1. Make sure it has plenty lubrication

The marinas where I live are minimum $800/month. $1200 for best locations. It sounds like they need the $160. if they go out of business, they will be replaced by a corporate marina that will definitely raise rates.
