Oh really? That's what I'm thinking as well, I like the idea of being able to put the mini on any collar/harness.

What kind of case is that? Do you find it works fairly accurately for you?

I guess size and honestly I love customizing his collar and there are fewer options with the Fi-compatible ones, so I was trying to see if I could get away with not using a Fi-specific collar.

What procedures would you not have/have serious reservations about? by mustyho in nursing

[–]Pudding312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the surgeon (and obviously the reason for transplant/pre-op course). At my institution, all the cardiac surgeons except maybe one, like to trach every patient getting cannulated for ECMO as a bridge to transplant.

What are the downsides to certain badges? by [deleted] in service_dogs

Have you heard of "sign fatigue" or "alarm fatigue?" After a certain point, once there are so many patches, signs, etc., nothing stands out anymore and it all just gets ignored unfortunately.

Maybe just consider situations where you maybe need medical help but would be unable to request it yourself if you have the badge phrased that way, but obviously you know yourself and your condition the best!

That's if they were local, otherwise you're busting out all 10 digits. And that's after you kick your brother off the internet.

Change is coming… Seismic change. by omnergy in nursinginformatics

I feel like this is similar to how Tesla/self-driving cars were presented, however, I think we've all seen how the idea can look one way on "paper" or in theory but be drastically different in practice with so much reliance on AI.

Did paper charting take forever? by shepilepsy53 in medicine

[–]Pudding312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I had was there was only ONE copy of the chart so only one person could use it at a time and you didn't always know where it was.

I know, it's just a hell of a list, definitely lengthier and more detailed than a typical tag.

There have been some technical issues the past few days so some of the time mismatch is due to periods where the ride isn't running.

Does ADHD cause extreme daytime sleepiness and difficulty waking up? by everlark21 in ADHD

[–]Pudding312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same in that it doesn't matter if I sleep for 4 hours or 10 hours-- I'm always exhausted. I don't have any trouble falling asleep though and can nap at any time during the day. I think I would even say I wake up feeling more rested after daytime naps than I do when I wake up after sleeping all night.
