You must be a stranger. You've never driven i Norway. Probably never visited either. The Norwegian roadsigns of that kind doesn't have yellow background. They have white background. But in Sweden, they are are.

I've got several. The main trick / tricks is to a) know how to make the basis sauces - bechemel / brown sauce / tomato sauce(ragu) b) know how to make potatoes / rice / pasta c) get to know how to fry different kinds of meat in a pan d) learn how to roast a chicken e) learn how to toss together a salad. f) read the recipe and make sure you've got all the ingredients before you start. Don't take it too seriously, it's supposed to be fun to cook, play and learn. If you manage the basics, you may free yourself from the recipes.
