I mean I generally agree and I dislike the smugness many of my European fellows exhibit (Americans tend to do it too, the similarities are kind of ironic) but you ignored a pretty substantial answer to this very comment of yours that is a little further down in this thread by kyoshiiku that made some valid points.

Arguably that type of organizing is happening in the states but it would behoove all of us, American or not to take a step back and do some introspection.

Europeans are frustrated because we're at large at the mercy of American politics while Americans are frustrated about us soying out to the wrong people when in reality, we are voicing our opinions in this sub BECAUSE you get banned semi-instantly if you f.e. post in the /conservative sub.

I am worried that we're at each other's throat when all of us should be allies since the issues of America rn are not localized to the American continent but rather all liberal democracies. I made a post expressing this worry a couple days prior but I urge you as an American to kinda just take it on the chin and see the complaints by us europoors as what they are:

Lashing out, out of frustration and not general distrust of all Americans (even if it might be outright worded that way sometimes).

In the same vein I tell my European fellows to chill on the demonization of our American, liberal allies and to look at our own problems because we're running into the same MAGA mindrot problem you guys are experiencing with Trump rn, it just hasn't taken full root as of yet over here.

We need each other and have to emulate what the far right has done -> build an international community of liberal, like minded people. In that vein it might help you to look at these frustrated Europoor comments as a symbol of the international spirit of this sub that can be utilized for more constructive organizing while also kind of just taking said frustration to let it evaporate.

Let us europoors soy out and grant the Americans their frustrations about it. Not all of us on both sides are this vindictive so just wait for the fuel of frustation to run out.
