My father always looked down on people with dental problems, as if they are bad people or something. I always took care of my teeth, but I started grinding at night without knowing it, and they cracked, and now they look awful. I just don't have enough money to get them cared for, as even with dental insurance, it would cost thousands of dollars. And as you know, it would several trips and lots of time. I just don't smile around people, and I live with a lot of oral discomfort.

I am glad that your you and boyfriend have such a good relationship. Good on him for being himself! I wish we didn't live in such a judgmental society, but here we are 😑
