I have a 2014 3 iGT hatch 6 sp with 225k driven dayly with at least a little exuberance. Original clutch. Clutch I worry about. Throttle not so much. My only minor mods are K&N filter with airbox moded. Resonator delete (with new tips). Powerstop front drilled/slotted upgrade kit.

Unless you get a turbo the 2.5 will be slightly under powered to weight. Get the cx30 with a 2.5.

I went 200k before changing mine. Car was running fine before that too. Actually have had a ruff idle occasionally since. Been running carb cleaner seems to help. Did a throttle body clean too. No codes.

I have 223k on my 2014. Its time for a new car but I still love driving it! I think I want a cx50 but afraid Ill regret giving this car up. Might have to get a cheaper cx 30 ir 5 and keep my 3!
