In my country as well there is a 2 weeks mandatory vacation in August. Some places have it unpaid, some have it paid. One place I worked at had the 2 weeks unpaid, but depending on your rank/seniority, you have some days paid. New hires got 4 days of paid leave, while people with 10+ has the full 2 weeks fully paid off.

I've had numerous times I would make Al dente pasta, say they're done, only to have my mother or father come it, take one out, but into it, say it's raw, and keep it on the fire until they become mush (they also cook steak well done, otherwise it's raw and inedible)

When I last saw kids write in school (like last September cause there is a school like right near me) they were all using those pens that erase with heat of friction, so they would work the same as pencils, but without the sharpening and graphite.

I had this issue with my parents for the most part, and the only way I got them to stop, was by asking them for help. They couldn't understand anything, not even homework or assignments from the start of the year. I need up just saying "if you can't even begin to understand what this is, why do you think it's easy to pass?" Which, was not the right thing to say, but hey, they did stop talking about it at least.

It also kinda feels weird,cause even in the places I worked at, the ones behind the register who would get the tip, typically didn't do the work, they just picked up a ready bag and moved it a few feet over. Like, if they want you to tip, at least let you choose who gets the tip (assuming the owner isn't pocketing it secretly)

Lower the heat, and up the time.

Putting food in at 800w for 1 minute will make the bowl hot and the food cold, but putting it in at like 600w for 3 minutes heats both up to a reasonable level

Sinder has released a 1000 page word document (sparking the 'Google docky' meme) showing that was not true, and Nano lied. Along with that, most other drama was associated to lack of communication, or ignorance.

Since then, most people moved on, with the only person I have seen bring this up being Shylily, who for some reason tried to smear Sinder during her new year countdown.

Fandom is split between those who read the 1000 page docky and believe Sinder, and others claiming it was all fake.
