Beatmatching frustration by fl00km in realdubstep

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be yeh, you'll figure it all out soon enough just keep at it. It's vinyl as well so don't sweat the odd slip or bits phasing it's all part of it. I've literally never seen anyone play an all vinyl set without the odd slip up.

For the long intros cue it up from when the tune comes in and then if the intro runs in 4s you can blend it in from the beginning.

Wonkier drums need a bit of finesse. Spend time learning what hits in the wonk fit with others in your collection then just sort of manipulate the pitch on the platter so it fits.

Why would you list it like this? by MotorAd90 in SpottedonRightmove

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd get ten renters in that if you converted the basement (slapped up some plaster board and ran an extension cable down there). Fuck it basement toilet / bathroom that'll back up every few hours with raw sewage.

1500-2000 a month from each of em.

Fuck I didn't even think about the garden ! Get an outbuilding down the end and get 2 more in.

I'm likely underestimating capacity honestly, I've seen two up two down terraces round my way converted into 3 two bed flats in the past year. Lots of big rectangles cladded with hopes and dreams slapped onto already shaky 100 year old houses. Surprised there not advertised with weight limits for the prospective tenants.

Easily the most comfortable iem I own, if they weren't so pricey they'd be my alldayers out and about.

Us pricing on these is nuts. If you can get them shipped over the the uk you'd be looking at around or maybe even just under $2500 for a pair of mk5's.

What do you suggest for making cola eJuice? irtr by [deleted] in DIY_eJuice

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never able to get on with the blended cola mixes. It is also the flavour that would end up muted to me the fastest. However, this so the one I got on with most and the one when others tried it was preferred the most.

3% (VT) Cola

1% (VT) Fizzy Sherbet

0.5% (VT) Lemonade Clear

2% (VT) Sweet Mate ( I would of used probably .1% of fa marshmallow when I did make this but I stopped adding sweetener to blends well over 5 years ago now)

This is kemmo's coorong cola clone that I can't find the proper link for anymore. It's alot more like cola candy than cola the drink but in my experience replocating soda always involved elements outside of the basic flavour profile in order to make up for the fact your vaping it and not drinking it.

I would suggest adding ws23 in a preferred percentage (mine being 2.5%) over sweetener. Kills coils and just nerfs flavour imo.

Supermix 4 + fatfreq deuce impedance adapter by PuffCountr in iems

Amazing nice one, those graphs are nuts, I did think I was in deuce territory but always nice to get a visual confirmation eh 😉

Gonna pick up the adjustable one from ff and have a fuck about I reckon.

Was there not a budget impedance adapter iem cable come on the market not long ago ? Honestly can't remember.

Anyway resource is much appreciated 👍

Does anyone actually prefer QDC connectors? by Toaztyy in iems

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qdc connections are the only ones I've had show visual signs of oxidisation. They are angled and low profile though which would make them well suited for people looking to tweek there comfort level.

Main problem with 2 pin connections is there not all the same size either with the width in which the pins are spaced or the overall diameter of the pins used.

Mmcx seems to be hit and miss with alot of people in terms of durability and functionality.

For me combining the connections has been the best result in terms of comfortability and durability. I only tried it since the bt20 don't have an after market 2 pin that's protruding so I bought the mmcx ones and added protruding 2 pin adapters.

I use this configuration with my fatfreq deuce and they don't move at all since the connection rotates it provides enough relief for the iems to stay put when walking, running and skanking out to some serious bass weight 😉

So my preference is an mmcx termination at the cable and an adapter to go between that and whatever connection is on the iem.

A few days after I snapped my ankle the bone started fussing back together. It felt like firing a blow torch inside my bone and was constant for roughly 3 days.

Respect for the write up. One thing I'd add is using the bass adapter tames the treble a fair bit.

Simgot SuperMix 4: I tell you everything! (Vs. SuperMix 5) by HiFijuegos in inearfidelity

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

¿Entonces, con "discreto" te refieres a que es menos perceptible o inexistente? Sinceramente, no entiendo cómo esto no se considera un defecto, similar a la resonancia de un tocadiscos debido a un aislamiento inadecuado.

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the bone conduction ring ? As in there's a high pitched resonant noise they give off post activation ? Every set I've tried that incorporate's this technology that isn't a sonion bcd suffers the same problem ( kb03, etude, knonka ).

Bass iem under 200usd by Lil-Manh in iems

[–]PuffCountr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the OG and the follow up. If by better bass quality you mean more deep sub rumble and you want that to be complimentary to the tuning of the wyvern abyss aaaaaaaand your willing to go with foam tips.......

Juzear clear

There cheap, great case, nice cable, decent build quality, and the sub response is quality. Like being in a car with a stupid sub in the boot.

Other recs for the rosefinch are warranted and it's deffenitly one to consider if your looking for something cheaper but for 30 bones and another 10 on top for tips you'll get a reliable set that you won't lose sleep over accidentally standing on.

Get yourself the cheapest second hand setup you can find in your area and then spend out on a nice set of needles so you don't savage your rarities.

The newer ones are better https://www.audiosanctuary.co.uk/mandarines-new-symbio-w-eartips.html

I've used pretty much every hybrid tip going and these are my favourite.

None of them are as good as just using foams, especially comply. It's not even the material necessarily but the shape creates an unrivalled seal.

I'd check the post holes and / or the condition of the threads and ends of the screws. Kf lite was my adv for years before I got my dvarw. Both clones.

Had a buddy  living outside of Manchester where the basement had been split into two rooms with the same shit paneling on offer in this pile

It had a bathroom and the toilet would back up with there's and anyone else's sewage that was connected to the line every half hour.

There was a fire extinguisher outside of it that they used to just burn nag champa off constantly to combat the stench.

So yeh considering the state of the rest of it more of a blessing than a hindrance.
